Secrets Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa Review (4 Days)

Overall Rating: 8/10

Pros:
1. Exceptional Food: High-quality dining for an all-inclusive resort.
• 4 sit-down restaurants: Asian (favorite), Mexican, Italian, & French.
• A great buffet, coffee shop, and poolside grills.
• Rosewater Grill exclusive to Secrets guests.
2. Clean & Spacious Rooms: Stayed in an oceanfront suite with a hot tub on the balcony and a rainfall shower.
• Swim-up rooms are also available.
3. Friendly Staff: Always helpful and welcoming throughout the stay.
4. Variety of Activities: Plenty of events and entertainment available.
5. Shared Access to Breathless Riviera Cancun: Perfect for those seeking a livelier, party atmosphere.
6. Xhale Pool with DJ: Daily music from 1-5 PM made it the favorite pool.
7. Good Drinks: High-quality beverages available everywhere.
8. Nightclub: A fun option for nightlife.
9. 9 Bars & Lounges: Includes an exclusive lounge for Secrets guests, which also serves finger foods.

Cons:
1. Slow Room Service: Orders took almost 2 hours each time.
2. Limited Beach Experience: The beach is small and not a major highlight.
3. Entertainment Could Improve: Events and activities lacked a bit of excitement compared to expectations & other resorts.
4. Not in the Hotel Zone: Located about 20-25 minutes away, but requires traveling down a long, bumpy gravel road to reach the resort.

Overall, I recommend these resorts & would go back. If you’re looking for a good balance between relaxation & party vibes, it would be perfect for you. Let me know if you’d like a free quote! ☀️🏖️

Late post, but me & Brandon spent a few days in San Antonio last month! ⭐️

We stayed at (Element San Antonio Riverwalk). The hotel was clean, staff was great, the “free” breakfast was really good considering its hotel breakfast. Everything was cooked fresh. The rooftop restaurant / bar was also nice. The food, drinks, & views were 10/10. The hotel did not have a pool, though. I didn’t think it would be a big deal, but it was really hot & I definitely would’ve utilized the pool. It’s also not directly on the Riverwalk, but only a short walk across the street & down the stairs. Overall, I recommend!

We went to all 3 days — so fun. & we stumbled across . It had a really cute aesthetic & nice happy hour specials. But I think our favorite bar find was . There were several immersive exhibits throughout the bar & arcade games — everything was 80’s-y2k themed.

We ate at , which is always a nice experience. & brunched at . The food, drinks & vibe was 10/10!

Overall, it was a nice trip. We did lots of walking & exploring up & down the Riverwalk & downtown, went to the mall, went see a movie & did a lot of eating & drinking lol.. Let me know if you’d like to go! ☺️
