I know I haven’t been posting as often as I used to — life has been SUPER busy. So, I wanted to do a sort of ✨reintroduction✨ for yall! 😄

Weekend in Tampa!📍

We took Aubrie to Busch Gardens for Howl-O-Scream. 🧟‍♀️👻🎃

There is 5 haunted houses & 6 scare zones. We got the fast passes, which was definitely worth it. The wait times for the houses were 30-45 mins each (which is still not terrible, but we were able to walk right in). The fast pass also included 9 of the thrill rides - there’s so many fun rides!

We definitely recommend Howl-O-Scream if that is your thing! Aside from that, the park itself is big! Lots of thrill rides, animal encounters (it’s like a zoo as well), a really cute kids play zone for the little ones, & carnival rides & games.

We stayed at Aloft Midtown Tampa where several shops & restaurants were in walkable distance - I love being able to walk places & not have to Uber!

We went to Cats & Caffeine (a cat cafe), which was probably my favorite part! 🥰 You get an hour to interact with the cats & kittens. & they are all adoptable.

& for dinner Saturday night we ate at Haiku in downtown Tampa. Highly recommend! The drinks & food were so good & the place is so nicely decorated!

Tips for you after my 5 day cruise on the Carnival Valor!🛳️
— No need for an excursion in Costa Maya. There is plenty to do at the port including swimming with the dolphins, 2 pools with swim up bars (enter at your own risk 🤭), restaurants, bars, lots of shopping. There is also an aviary! 🦩🦜 We did the fish pedicure (recommend)!
— In Cozumel we did an excursion. We went to Passion Island by boat. The island had kayaking, water trampolines, swings & hammocks in the water, lots of beach chairs, shops & a spot for massages. The buffet & drinks were included. Overall I’d give it a 7/10. Drinks & food wasn’t the greatest but the rest was nice!
— The drink pass is worth it even if you won’t drink 15 drinks a day. Drinks averaged $12-$13, so just a few will equal the daily total. Plus, all sodas, water, the coffee shop is included & unlimited.
— The buffet & dining room food was mediocre, but the other restaurants were solid. The steakhouse is worth the extra money‼️
— Carnival only gives candy straws 🍭
— The extra money for the lido deck stateroom & balcony was worth it.

This means that starting at 12:01AM ET on June 12, 2022, air passengers will not need to get tested and show the COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 prior to boarding a flight to the U.S.

CDC provides credible COVID-19 health information to the U.S.
