In some parts of Mexico, couples take advantage of the travel from the ceremony to the reception by an old tradition -- La Callejoneada -- a wedding parade that combines music, drinks, celebration and large puppets called Mojigangas!
The Mojigangas are meant to depict the bride and groom! For example, if the groom has a beard then his Mojiganga will have a beard!
We were simply walking the streets of mexico into what was such a beautiful tradition to see and learn all about authentically and by chance! It is moments like this that just always keep us on our toes when traveling! You truly never know what you will walk into and learn all about!
