About our Adventure Guide

I has always had a love for travel, road trips and planning vacations, being an Adventure Guide is natural to me. If it was a summer road trip with my family to Yellowstone National Park, or my daughter’s 2nd birthday as a reason to travel to Disneyland, or just relaxing on the beach in St. Thomas, I am always up for making memories and having experiences of a lifetime. I believes in fairy tales and the magic of Disney. From an early age I traveled to Disneyland with my family and will always remember and cherish the time we spent together. Disney trips, movie nights and Disney traditions are special to our family and serve as a great reminder that dreams do come true, heroes exists and there really are happy endings. Most (if not all) of the significant events in our life were either celebrated at Disney or served as a great distraction to the reality of life. It’s the one place that she can feel like a kid again as it’s not a prerequisite that you have to grow up!

I am a substitute teacher in Bellingham, Washington, loves to have fun and has always been a planner- I am often referred to as the “cruise director” by my family! My love of Disney and travel experience to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World make this job as an Adventure Guide with Adventures Away a perfect fit. I am very detailed oriented and organized and would love to help you plan a vacation that matches your wishes, fits your budget and includes all of the extra special touches to create the best vacation experience for you and your family.
