Our Halloween dance is coming up on Saturday, October 21 with Chuck Woods calling and Linda Brown cueing. We’ll have a costume contest and good food, coffee, and bottled water. Hope to see lots of you there. 7:30-10:00pm at the Crawfordsville Park & Recreation Center, 922 E. South Blvd.

Friends of Lafayette Fun Squares

Good morning Friends of Lafayette Fun Squares

Lafayette Fun Squares next dance is Friday October 6th at McAllister Recreation Center on 2351 N. 20th Street Lafayette, IN 47904 from 6:30-8:30pm. The caller is Curt Braffet and cuer is Linda Brown. The dance will be in the gym, park in the back parking lot and enter through any of the back doors. We will have snacks and drinks during a short intermission as food and drinks are not allowed in the gym. We hope to see lots of you there. Also we have started lessons on Tuesdays at same time and place and would love for any of you to join us.

Hi everyone,
Our next dance is coming up on Saturday August 19 with Travis Cook calling mainstream and plus and Shirley Heiny cueing rounds. Our theme is “Hawaiian Luau”—so far, there will be some baked ham and a pineapple cake for our food table. Come dance with us 7:30-10pm at the Crawfordsville Park & Recreation Building, 922 E. South Blvd. Crawfordsville, IN. Casual dress always welcome!

Hi Everyone,

Our July dance is this Saturday, July 15th. Our theme is “Red, White, and Blue”. Gary Hutton will be our caller and Linda Brown will cue the round dancing. Refreshments will be a variety of finger foods (sandwiches, chips & dip, brownies, etc.) Please join us at the Crawfordsville Park and Recreation Center, 922 S. Boulevard, Crawfordsville, IN from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

Our June dance is this Saturday June 17 and the theme is “Welcome to Summer” with Wesley Fenton calling and Pam Stultz cueing. Food table menu for the night “Let’s have a picnic!”

Our regular dance is this Saturday, May 20, with Darrin Henry calling and Pam Stultz cueing. The theme is “South of the border”. An awesome Taco Bar will be the refreshments for the evening. Come join us at the Crawfordsville Park and Recreation Center, 922 S. Boulevard, Crawfordsville, IN this Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 7:30 - 10:00pm.

This Sunday, May 21st, you all will have a choice of three dances to attend.
1. Footloose with Darrin Henry calling and Nancy Fulaytar cueing.-Anderson
2. Hoosier Corners with Jason Raleigh calling and Elaine Wintrow cueing.-Dayton
3. Swinging Mates with Curt Braffet calling and Bonnie Lawrence cueing.-Terre Haute

Three great callers, three great cuers!! Terre Haute will be holding our last dance at the Wabash Activity Center. Sunday we will be upstairs in a larger room. Can't do stairs? There is a chair lift-seat to use. You will hear about our new location at the dance and it will be posted on the IDA website after Sunday. We would love to have you join us Sunday. Squares and rounds begin at 2 p.m. and end at 4:30 p.m.

Hi everyone,
I’m sorry to tell you that we’ve had to cancel our March square dance for Saturday, March 18th. The Park & Rec Center is “redoing” the gymnasium floor and it won’t be finished in time for our dance. Board members looked for alternative spaces, but we only had a week’s notice, so we’ve had to cancel. Hope to see everyone in April for our regular dance. Remember that Lafayette dances the first Friday of each month and you can go to the IDA website to see other dances in the area.
