Welcome Loews Royal Pacific🌴

🐘Did you know Universal has their own Resorts? With three levels theres price options for everyone, this hotel is the Royal Pacific which is the in the Signature Collection! For this of you who are more familiar with Disney, this is the equivalent to a Deluxe resort!

Lets start with the cons:
- Room Size: For the price this was a pretty small room. As you can see there is a desk and an extra chair but not much room to move around. The bathroom however had plenty of vanity space!
- Price: This is not one of the more affordable hotels that Universal offers, so if you’re looking for the perks of staying on Universal Property but don’t want to splurge this isn’t the resort for you.

Now for the pros:
- Express Unlimited: When you stay at a Signature Collection hotel you get the Express Unlimited Pass INCLUDED in your stay! This includes your check in and check out day. Skip the line at most attractions around the park as many times as you want (if I was by myself Mummy would’ve been ridden 15 times in a row).
- Early Park Admission: When you stay at a Universal hotel you’ll get into one of the parks up to an hour early every day! Great opportunity for pictures📸
- Signature Collection Price: While these are not cheap rooms the Royal Pacific is usually the lowest cost of the top resorts.
- Proximity to Parks: When I tell you this was the best perk, we were all but on City Walk yet you still feel like you’re in your own relaxing bubble. After walking all day being able to be right back at the resort was so amazing!

✨If you’re looking to stay close to the Universal parks I would highly recommend this resort. It’s close to the action yet still so relaxing!

Why you should plan your trip at LEAST a year in advance:

✨A year of planning for a vacation sounds excessive but there are many reasons you should be prepared, and not for the reasons you may think!

📆Save the date! Having dates gives you plenty of time to be able to take off work and make sure no one in your party has any conflicts. You can always adjust accordingly but having dates makes it easier to get accurate quotes, have a game plan which leads to my next point…

💰Fatten that bank account! The earlier you can start saving the less impactful that final bill will be 30 days before your trip. It also gives you plenty of time to look out for deals on gift cards. Discounted gift cards is the BEST way to get free money and stretch your dollar that much futher.

💻Securce that room! The longer you wait to book your trip, the less options you’ll have for rooms. If you wait until AFTER a promotion drops, rooms start dissapearing faster than Lightning Lanes for Slinky Dog Dash! Even if your resort is still available, the rooms that are left may be Water View or Prefered which could bump you out of your price range. (And btw, if you book your room and discounts drop after, you can always apply them later if you qualify).

✍🏼Get organized! Disney can be overwhelming for people who don’t travel there all the time (sometimes its overwhelming for people who DO go all the time). Taking the time to research, make lists to have a guideline to follow can elevate a lot of stress of the unknown. I never recommend a full minute but minute daily schedule, but lists can give you a roadmap so you aren’t walking around and using up time to figure out what to do while you’re IN the parks. Cramming that research into a few short months on top of everything else can be a lot.

✨There are tons of reasons to give yourself plenty of time to book your trip but this are the main ones I’ve run into while booking for others and taking trips personally!

On May 22nd, Universal will open its 4th theme park and there are so many new things coming to get excited about!

Epic Universe will have ‘portals’ thats guests can walk through to enter immersive lands which include:

Did you know the EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival is right around the corner?

🌸By far the prettiest time of year for EPCOT, the Flower and Garden Festival houses topiaries all over the park with unique and colorful designs that they grow years in advance.

🧁They also have tons of food booths like BRUNCHCOT where you can get Cinnamon Bacon Cream Cheese Bites that are worth the whole park ticket if you ask me :)

If you’re planning to go to Disney in 2025 there are tons of ways to save, and the more you save on your rooms the more snacks you can buy!

✨Firstly Disney is offering 25% off on select dates in February-April 2025.

✨They also just announced a new promotion for the summer where you can save up to 30% on rooms when you stay 5 nights or longer!

💦Did you know if you stay on property in 2025 you can get water park access for free the day you arrive?

✈️There are so many reasons to go to Disney in 2025. The quicker you book the better chance you have at snagging a discounted room before they all disappear (believe me they go fast).

It’s so hard to believe I started this journey only just earlier this year. This was something I dreamed of doing for years but never had the courage to do it. Academy Travel has been so good to me and I’m so glad that I held out to find them!

After three trips to Florida this year which is more than I’ve ever had, I’m excited to see what next year holds. Disneyland CA you are in sight🤩

Thank you to everyone who has booked through me, supported me and followed me. I’ve learned so much, theres nothing I want more than to keep doing this and help more people. I’m so glad I can share all of the information thats bursting my head with you all❤️

🎥Let’s take a trip to All Star Movies!!

⭐️Disney’s All Star Resorts are Value Resorts, meaning they are some of the lowest price options on property. There are three All Star Resorts: Movies, Music and Sports!

We recently stayed at All Star Music, which has five sections:
Rock n Roll🎸
Calypso🪇
Jazz🎷
Country🤠
Broadway🎭

🚌Transporation available to the parks & Disney Springs are buses and buses only. They are also out in the open so if its raining or very hot keep that in mind!

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒There are two room options: Family suites (sleeps up to 6) & standard rooms (sleeps up to 4).

🛏️We stayed in a standard room, and one thing we noticed was in comparison to other standard rooms we’ve been in, this one was slightly smaller. The table pull down bed replaces the table and chairs like you see in other resort rooms. While the bathroom doesn’t have a ton of counter space there is a lot of storage. The recent renovations look great and the resort was very clean!

🎵Maestro Mickey’s is the store on site that sells Disney merchandise, resort-specific merch and essentials you may have forgetten like toothbrushes, painkillers, bandaids etc.

🍽️Intermission Food Court is the only food spot at this resort. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner; typically theme park food like burgers and chicken tenders🍔 However, they also have some more heathly and interesting options like salmon, seseme chicken & impossible meatloaf🍲

🍻Singing Spirits is the pool bar that is also open on the inside of the food court!

🎹There are two pools at this location, the Piano pool and the Calypso pool. Both are uniquely themed, you may even see your favorite duck make an appearance!

⭐️If you’re looking for the cheapest option while also staying on Disney property, All Star Music is my recommendation for you. They are the only All Star Resort with the family suites, theres no hoards of sports teams or cheerleaders (they typically stay at All Star Sports) and All Star Movies can be slightly more expensive.

🥁If space is important for your family and you can spare the expense, I would recommend upgrading to a moderate resort. If you are looking for a place to drop your stuff, sleep, shower and change (and you don’t mind being in close quarters with the people you’re staying with) then these rooms will be perfect for you!

🐓Lets talk about the must-do restuarant: Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’!

🛍️Located in The Landing area of Disney Springs, this resturant has some of the BEST chicken in all of Disney World!

🍽️If you’re looking for some nice and filling southern comfort food - this is the place to get it! With a menu full of deliciousness like fried chicken, meatloaf, biscuits, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, deviled eggs, all types of greens, pecan pie, even freshly made donuts and so much more, you’re sure to find something for everyone to enjoy😋

🍹If you’re looking to sample some drinks, Homecomin’ has tons of options including a moonshine flight! I settled for the Florida Crush which definitely was a kick at 11:30 in the morning!

🍯For appetizers we ordered the Thigh High Chicken Biscuits which are probably my favorite thing in Disney World. The biscuits are soft and moist and flavorful and of course the chicken is crispy and the hot honey makes it the perfect bite.

🍗For what they call Main Plates we got the Art’s Famous Fried Chicken which came with mashed potatoes and more biscuits. We also got a side of green beans in order to get something green in our systems🫛

✨If you’re looking for a spot to have a nice hearty meal before you go shopping this is a MUST-DO!!! All of it was absolutely delicious to the point where we debated taking our leftovers on the plane home with us.

Lets talk about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!!!🎄

🎉 This was my first time doing the Christmas Party and I cannot recommend these more. If you had a choice between doing a regular Magic Kingdom day or a Christmas Party I highly recommend just doing the Christmas party.

🎁What you get with your ticket:
- Access to Magic Kingdom from 4pm-12am (party starts at 7pm)
- Complimentary Ornament
- FREE Unlimited Party Cookies and Drinks
- Party Exclusive Parade, Fireworks, Stage Shows & Decor
- Party Exclusive Food (not free)
- LIMITED Park Capacity
- & so much more!!!

✨✨✨
My tips & recommendations:

🕓Since you can get into the park at 4pm, I recommend arriving around 3:45 to line up. They may even let you in a few minutes early!

✍🏼Make sure you know what you want to do and what times shows are beforehand so you can plan accordingly. If you want to prioritize rides, get in line for the bigger attractions during parades and shows. If you want to prioritize parades and shows, make sure to arrive early at whatever spot you’d like to get the best view!

🍪Get your complimentary cookies closer to the end of the night. They’re likely to give you more than one (if you ask nicely) and the lines are much shorter! Also the inflatable Candy Cane signs are where the free cookie & drinks spots are🍭

🍔Some Christmas snacks are available every day during the holiday season, prioritize the party-exclusive snacks during the party!!

🎢If you want to see the parade but are more concerned with riding rides with low wait times, watch the parade in Frontierland by Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! The parade will be over for you first and you can do those rides with virtually no wait. We literally walked on Tiana’s and had our own boat🪵

📸Take pictures with the Photopass Cast Members!!! They have party-exclusive Magic shots like Mickey in Santa’s sleigh, Mickey snowflakes, Christmas Tinker Bell and more!

More details to come later but this is just my overview. So much fun and definitely worth flying down on a Tuesday and coming back the next day:)

🍭The Mickey Peppermint Chocolate Sandwich Cookie!

📍We grabbed this at Goofy’s Candy Co. in Disney Springs.

🍫This is definitely a softer larger version of a thin mint, however it is very tasty! The cookie consistency is sort of crispy and the mint comes from the filling. It’s a lot of sugar for one sitting, I definitely recommend splitting it

🍪For $7.79 you can pick up this seasonal treat in bakeries around the parks and Disney Springs!

🎄It is officially Christmas (in Disney World at least) and one stop you cannot miss this season is the Grand Floridian!

🎅🏼Every year in the lobby of this Magic Kingdom area resort, imagineers craft a life-size gingerbread house where they actually sell bakes goods out of!

🚝Just a short monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom, the Grand Floridian is a Deluxe Resort and one of the fanciest! With one of the most beautiful lobbies in Disney World this is the place to stay if you want to go all out on your vacation.

Did you know you can visit resorts that you aren’t staying at? Anyone can visit any resorts and explore, eat and shop! It’s a great way to check out new resorts to see if its a place you might want to stay, or to try some unique restaurants!
