Mostar is a gorgeous place to stop for lunch, explore the cobbled streets and see the daring men and women that jump 24 metres from the Mostar Bridge.

I would love to jump off this bridge! I love adventure when travelling but the day we visited was cold, pouring rain and I was a tour leader so couldn’t risk hurting myself on tour!

Are you a more of an adventure traveller or a relaxed traveller?

Be a tourist in your own city and your own country!

I loved living in Sydney as I ha an excuse almost everyday to be a tourist, to discover something new like a cafe with the best smashed avocado, the hottest rooftop bar and of course the views.

One place in Sydney that I can never and will never get tired of seeing is the Harbour. From Opera Bar overlooking the Harbour Bridge, to the ferry ride over to Manly, there are just some things in life that will always take your breath away every single time.

Where have you lived and played tourist before?

Winter festival vibes ❄️🍷

Wagga held its annual Lost Lanes micro festival last weekend, showcasing the regions locals and their food, wines, beers, music and art.

Who doesn’t love an alley with the sunset and fairy lights ✨

I travel for new experiences, to meet people, try amazing food I have never had before, immerse myself in the culture, learn the history, see the history, chase the best sunsets, hike up large mountains, snowboard around beautiful resorts, read a book watching the rain and sit in an airport waiting for a delayed flight.⠀

I don't take anything while travelling for granted. No destination has let me down, left me feeling like i should not have visited, even after getting food poisoning!⠀

Every place I visit and every journey I take, I always have a positive mindset to make the most out of any trip.⠀

What are your reasons for travelling?⠀

Do you love showing people around where you live?

My mum came to visit me when I lived in London and I loved taking her around to show her the sights including English pubs, Buckingham Palace and Big Ben.

It’s even better when other friends join in on the day’s activities, and the sun was out!

I would love to know where everyone is from? Let me know below!

Narrow streets full of colour, friendly faces and many many tapas bars.

San Sebastián has the BEST tapas in Spain in my opinion. Add this amazing, vibrant and interesting city to your list of places to visit in Spain, you will not regret it!

Summer cricket 🏏☀️

Australian Summer consists of cricket, friends, beers and sunshine. Especially at the Sydney Cricket Ground when the Ashes are being played!

If you don’t know, the Ashes is a cricket tournament between Australia and England held every 4 years. A tough and passionate rivalry which is fantastic to be a part of.

What’s your favourite Summer activity?

When I visit a new place I always look for a view that’s away from the usual.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the popular sights and most of the time that is why I am visiting a place but I know I will always look around me for a different perspective. I did in Bled and this is the view I got.

The rolling hills, flat valley and a mix of different greens really took my breath away. I of course still got a bit of Lake Bled in there too!

Where did you find your favourite view?

Experiencing a football match between other countries other than your own is such a fun, inspiring and interesting way to get to know other cultures and people.

I was able to see Sweden and Germany play when I was in Russia during the FIFA World Cup last year and the atmosphere was just incredible!

Fans from both countries were so excited that us Aussies were attending a game to watch their country play and cheer them on. The sound that came from that stadium left me speechless.

Are you a sports fan? I would love to know!

Have you ever discovered a place that can be viewed from all different angles and still gives you a breathtaking scene?

The Amalfi Coast is one of those places for me. I found so many great spots, from sea level to hotel balconies that offered a stunning & awe-inspired view.

Where is your favourite viewpoint, higher or lower?

I could sit on the side of Lake Bled all morning enjoying the soft sounds of the water lapping the shore and watching the world around me.

There is a path winding around the entire lake which offers so many awesome view points as well as great walking/hiking tracks to give you the high vantage points.

Have you found a place that gives you peace and serenity?

Italian beach bar views ☀️🌊🍹

Matt and I stayed just outside of Positano in a gorgeous little town called Praiano, only 15-20 mins further along the coast.

We went for a little walk around Praiano, found a beautiful shop full of handmade pottery, a shop owner with numerous tastings of limoncello, a sign leading to a beach and then this view after walking down 100s of stairs that we realised we had to then walk back up!

No need to worry, these beautiful views and the arduous stairs back up the hill were rewarded by a cute little bar with plenty of Moscow mules and sunset views across the coast.

I love visiting places just off the beaten track.

Tell me a place that you have been that isn’t a common tourist destination?

Living my best life.

On a boat. In Croatia. As a tour guide.
Work can sometimes be absolutely amazing, hard work and constantly changing, but amazing.

Croatia is such a beautiful country and a must see for everyone but working on a boat you understand a lot of what goes into the day-to-Day running of the boat, what to do in unexpected weather changes and how different ports and docking works on islands and on the mainland.

Do you have questions about what it is like working on a sailing boat in Croatia? Let me know below!

Every city is different, skyscrapers, 2 story buildings, straight, curved, deserted or full of people. I don't have a preference on my favourite type of street but if it had beer it will most likely be near the top of the list!

I absolutely love live sporting events!

My job over 6 years was to help organise tours for fans to travel within Australia and overseas to watch their favourite sport. For a lot of these tours I was their tour guide.

The feeling of witnessing a live sporting event is like no other. The atmosphere, passion, cheering and even crying is so moving and emotional that I always leave on a high.

The FIFA World Cup in Russia was so different. My friend and I arrived early to the second Australian match in Samara and we almost felt like celebrities. So many Russians wanted their photo with us that we actually had no time to chill out before entering the stadium. And I wouldn’t have it any other way!

What’s one thing that makes you emotional and happy?

Boat days in the sunshine ☀️⁣⠀
⁣⠀
The weather has really cooled off today which had me thinking back to how ridiculously hot Summer was this year and how good it is when we are out on the boat at Blowering Dam.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
When camping allows this to be your view every single morning and daylight savings means the we are still out surfing & wakeboarding at 8pm.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
When it's acceptable to have a beer at 11:30am and have an afternoon nap in the sunshine.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
Now it's time to enjoy Winter and all the amazing sports and warm & cozy clothes before we do another Summer at the dam.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
What season are you about to go into?⁣⠀

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; ⁣⠀
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. ⁣⠀
At the going down of the sun and in the morning ⁣⠀
We will remember them.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
Lest we forget.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
A day to remember those who fought and lost their lives for our freedom. A dawn service is held at the time the ANZAC's stormed the beach at Gallipoli, Turkey.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
Now it is time to chat to a veteran, buy them a beer and play the one game that is only legal to play today, 2up.⁣⠀

Exploring my own backyard series 🇦🇺⁣⠀
⁣⠀
Long, flat and deserted roads are what you can find in Western Australia. It can feel like you are not getting anywhere sometimes but every now and then you come across a stunning view or a new road to explore.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
We took the road from Port Hedland to Broome, approximately 6 hours, and found a road that took us 15-20 mins from the highway to Eighty Mile Beach caravan park.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
Roads can be long but they always lead us to something magnificent.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
Has a road taken you somewhere you didn't expect?⁣⠀

Weekend walks lead to beautiful views just like this one in Wagga overlooking Lake Albert.⁣⠀

I love how something as simple as walking when visiting new places that lead to so many new discoveries and amazing views.⁣⠀

When you visit a new place, do you drive, take public transport or walk?⁣⠀

A morning stroll around Mount Ophir Estate and I discovered the moon above this gorgeous tree. Who would have thought this was sunrise and not sunset!⁣⠀
⁣⠀
Rutherglen and its surrounds are a gorgeous part of Victoria that need to be added to your bucket list, especially as there are over 30 wineries to visit!⁣⠀

Where has been your favourite sunrise?⁣⠀

⁣⠀
The mighty Murray River! This beauty of a river runs through NSW and Victoria through many gorgeous towns that take full advantage of the water such as Echuca.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
Echuca enjoys the river by providing various tours on their paddle steamers, one of them bring over 100 years old!⁣⠀
⁣⠀
Houseboats are also very popular with most people spending approx. a week cruising down the river, some with speedboats attached for wakeboarding and waterskiing.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
What would you enjoy the most along the river?⁣⠀

Exploring my own backyard ☀️ 🌏⁣⠀
⁣⠀
It's amazing how many of us travel overseas out of our own countries searching for adventure and new experiences but many people don't realise you can also get this in your own backyard.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
This was something that I have recently learnt after moving back to Australia after living in London for 2 years.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
I am back in rural NSW and have found there are so many amazing towns and experiences in this area that I cannot wait to explore this year.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
I am so excited to show you what NSW, Victoria and more of Australia has to offer and hopefully spark some interest to see these places on your next trip!⁣⠀

One amazing thing about visiting Gallipoli, Turkey is the sensational views just like this one when you walk from the dawn service to Chunuk Bair via Lone Pine.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
The view is between Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair. When you stop and turn around after staring at the road, you see a sweeping coastline that is calming and picturesque.⁣⠀

Turkish delight, spices and tea are the essence of every bazaar in Istanbul.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
They are so full of life, delicious smells and friendly faces giving you so many tasters of their famous Turkish delight.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
I took my Mum here and we spent over 3 hours in one spice shop! They loved us and sent someone to get the little cafe to come down with apple tea and coffee, and all the baklava.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
There are so many amazing treasures to find in the bazaars so take your time wandering through to take in the full experience.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
If you want to buy spices, most places offer to vacuum pack any you want to take home on a plane.⁣⠀
