Key Regulations for Electronic Devices
Mexico permits travelers to bring ONE portable computer, laptop, tablet, or similar device (e.g., iPad) per person tax-free. Additional devices may incur customs duties, starting at 19% of the item's value. Travelers, especially those arriving at Cancun International Airport, have reported instances where duties on laptops and iPads exceeded the items' original value.

Limits on Other Electronics:
3 cell phones
2 cameras
1 pair of binoculars
1 GPS device
1 portable printer
1 DVD player or set of portable speakers
Bringing more than the allowed number of items may result in extra charges, or possible confiscation.
