As the ballooning season is in full swing we would like to give a few people the opportunity to join the team and learn to fly and train for a hot air balloon licence if your young or old it doesn’t matter by joining the crew you will get to learn how to setup and fly a balloon plus it’s a great way of meeting other people and having some fun so if there’s anyone that would like to join us please message me
Plus We are always looking out for people that can drive a car🛻 and trailer for a few hours on a morning or evening and go out and help retrieve the balloon when it’s flyable if this is something you can help with please contact us 👍

Excellent morning to fly one of are new crew members Ian for his first Balloon flight ever
Direction straight over Bath very low winds on take off at 6am but by 7am 12knot 40ft drag landing 🤣😂 just what you need for a first flight

Wow that was another exciting night down at snake meadows so many of you came out thank you all for supporting us and for that big cheer as we took off in the maxwells house hot air balloon tonight
Big thank you to Matt at MJ ballooning for bringing it along Liam at the controls and mark and Jayden on retrieve
Roll on the 13th July for are next big night 🎈🎈👍

Gates open at 6pm tonight (Thursday) at snake meadows we will be flying a special shape from the MJ Ballooning collection so have your cameras ready
Balloon inflation time and take off around 7.30pm plenty of parking in the field 🚗🚙
It’s been a very warm day and it’s very hot down the field so don’t forget your sun hats 🧢 and bring plenty of water 💦
And most important
I’m looking for a big cheer when we take off 📣👏

The Bath Hot Air Balloon club located at snake meadows is a great place where everyone is welcome to come along and join in we have tried to make it a very friendly place where you get the opportunity to get some fantastic close up pictures in and around balloons and a chance to actually get in the basket and have a go on the Burner At the moment we are giving away free flights to random people and only asking for a small donation to are chosen charity so don’t forget to get your raffle ticket when entering the field it could be your number called for that free flight 🤞🤞
We have had two very successful meets one being the Bristol Balloon Collectors inflation day
And the other being light up snake meadows what turned into a excellent night when MJ Ballooning joined us with a few special shapes before our first night glow are next big night is Saturday 13th July where we have two of the biggest hot air balloons being inflated before a fantastic night glow

Would anyone be interested in a small RC model Sunday afternoon down at snake meadows where you can have a go at flying a GPS model Helicopter and driving some RC off road Buggy’s around a track and watching some RC Balloons we will have to put age limit on flying but it will only be to make sure you understand the commands
