Starting in July 2024, Aruba will implement a $20 Sustainability Fee per person for visitors arriving by air. This fee is designed to support various projects aimed at enhancing and improving sustainability efforts on the island. Exemptions from this fee include residents, children under 8, repeat visitors who have already paid the fee within the same calendar year, and Aruban students studying abroad who have been residents within the past eight years.

The Sustainability Fee will be collected through the online Embarkation & Disembarkation (ED) Card platform, beginning July 1st, 2024. Visitors will be required to pay the fee while completing the ED card to enter Aruba. Here is the link to the relevant platform: https://edcardaruba.aw/
