Not only is today , it is also ! In honor of the holiday, we are sharing this photograph of Dorothy Graham who purchased Dune Burger with her husband in the 1970s, and operated the iconic eatery until 2013.

Dune Burger opened at the Whalebone Junction location in the 1950s, and has been a staple of the Outer Banks ever since.
