A year ago we booked a paint and sip party with local artist Carol Campbell at https://www.facebook.com/wineslippers?mibextid=LQQJ4d to create beautiful desert themed bottles and I had it stored away. So just pulled it out for the perfect addition to our cooks corner to house olive oil for our guests. Carol is also hosting a workshop on 8/12 from 10:30 to 1:30pm at for $45 to create the Havasu inspired Lazy Susan for all you LHC enthusiasts 👍🏻. After 6 years, we’ve finally gone digital with our guestbook, retiring our trusted Welcome Book binder that has served us well. It was made with love using Microsoft publisher software. But now there are so many cool digital products to use like hosting platform that generates your own QR code to share with your guests and allows you to post video instructions for your home and to print your customs signs! We ask our guests for direct feedback for ways to improve the experience. We listen and implement! Here’s our latest little improvement after a guest who really liked to cook and dine in asked about available spices and items in the kitchen. This prompted us to stock more spices and create a kitchen inventory on our digital guestbook so guests can see what’s in the home prior to their arrival and know what they need to bring or leave behind. Since our property is not just another STR, but also our families vacation home, we take great pride in it and our goal is to create a family friendly environment that feels like home 💯🌴🏠 www.bemyguesthavasu.com

One of our favorite things to do in Lake Havasu City on a Saturday or Sunday morning is have breakfast in downtown. They serve amazing food, drinks and speciality coffees. Then visit right next door to see what new pieces the amazing local artist Deb Riva has introduced. You’ll find several of her unique pieces in our home.
