California free camping
https://freecampsites.net/mount-laguna/

"Nice, secluded, quiet spot about 1 hour out of San Diego. Plenty of turnoff from the main road to have a lot of privacy. Highly recommended for a quick getaway. No campfires allowed, no facilities, pack everything in and pack everything out. Paved road and dirt roads, managable for most vehicles without 4x4." -

Free camping near a in
https://freecampsites.net/alkali-hot-springs/

"For the past 2 weeks, we have had our bus parked at Alkali Hot Springs just south of Tonopah, Nevada. Every single morning, we woke to breathtaking sunrises and watched wild horses, antelope, and donkeys roam all around us while we soaked our cares away in a steaming hot tub way far out in the middle of nowhere." - The Bus Story

Free camping near St George, Utah

"I stayed at the first campsite and got a nice level spot. I love this campsite but the road is narrow, and could be a big problem if it rains. Very close to St.George. -

Free Texas Camping
https://freecampsites.net/ #!7266&query=sitedetails

"This is a nice city park that gives you two days of free camping. There are 5 RV sites on a mix of dirt/gravel. We stayed on Site 5 (back-in site). We have a 38 foot Motorhome. If you have a Toad this site might not work. Use site 1…it is a pull-through site. There is electric 30-amp and water at each site. There is a dump station located by the bathrooms." -

Casino Camping California
https://freecampsites.net/fantasy-springs-casino/

"Called the casino and they said to park in the large North lot and no official limit for length of stay. No requirement for players card. We stayed 4 nights. Great Verizon signal so we could catch up on work stuff. Felt safe as security drives through regularly. Huge level lot, close to all shopping and amenities, fits all size rigs. Can hear traffic but not too bad. The gravel lot is quieter and darker than the paved truck/bus parking lot." - Living Light RV

Free camping in NW Arizona

"Most beautiful site in 2+ weeks. Coordinates do mark the site we used. Road is bumpy and rocky but we were fine with our 13' Scamp. Few turn arounds, but many more sites beyond ours" - runtrails

A scenic free campsite close to Zion National Park.
https://freecampsites.net/ #!38715&query=sitedetails

"We loved the spot we chose here! The site areas were clean and well marked. The views were amazing, and the sunset was incredible! It's a bit of a bumpy ride down the roads, but it was well worth it. We will definitely stay here again!" -

Free camping near Phoenix
https://freecampsites.net/bulldog-canyon/

"Stayed here July 4 - 7, 2019. First time camping in the desert, and absolutely LOVED it! Except for the fire ban, it would've been nice to cook over an open flame, or get in some target shooting! Oh well, it was one of the greatest times of my life, with some of the best views I was elated to fall asleep and wake up to!" - GoneRolling

Free camping in Arizona
https://freecampsites.net/ #!86500&query=sitedetails

"Great site, wide open with lots of room. Pull offs are stretched out over about 15 or 20 miles along historic route 66 between topock and oatman. there is room for any size rig you can tow in. wonderful views closer to Oatman. If you drive through from the south looking at the sites turn around before you get to oatman the road gets very narrow north of oatman. Wild donkeys everywhere! No traffic to speak of on the road." -

Free Camping in New Mexico
https://freecampsites.net/angel-peak-new-mexico/

"I've tent camped here twice (6/2012 & 7/2017), and will definitely be back. I was lucky enough to get the same spot (the second covered picnic table) both times, with very few others nearby. There are two (nice) pit toilets (one by where I camped and the other near the RV area), but bring what you need 'cuz there's no water or power. " - Dave

Free camping in Louisiana

https://freecampsites.net/cloud-crossing-campground/
"Best free campground so far. We are on a year long road trip cross country and frequently use this app. This was by far the best campground we have found! Easily accessible gravel road, restrooms, water spigots and trash bins. The RV site we chose, had a level gravel site as well as a fire pit! We arrived there after dark, with 3 other campers parked, one of which offered us some potatoes, another who offered his chain saw to cut us some fire wood. Felt safe and quiet. We would definitely stay here again!! No cell service" - Stargazer

Great free camping 6 miles from Capitol Reef
https://freecampsites.net/west-of-capitol-reef-np/
"The camping we were able to do was excellent. More free camping about 6 miles outside the park nearly 300 yards from the road on a big dispersed camping pullout. I highly recommend this spot if you are exploring the Capital Reef area. The pulloff is right in between mile marker 72 and 73 on Hwy 24 just outside Torrey. It’s on the left if you are coming from the east entering the park, or on the left if you are coming from the west leaving the park. Sweet views and not many people when we were there, despite other reviews. It was super fun to ride my mountain bike around here too."

Free camping NE Georgia
https://freecampsites.net/panther-creek-and-yonah-dam/

"Very quiet and scenic. Had to pick up some trash around the site but nothing too bad. Light traffic coming down the gravel road. Lost cell signal miles before getting to campsite but was able to find church with GPS no problem. stayed just one night en route to local state park." - Sarah-Marie Harrell

Sedona, Arizona
https://freecampsites.net/ #!4001&query=sitedetails

"Finally! Settling in for a few days. Red Rock Canyon, near Sedona, AZ. The weather was rainy yesterday, but now, not so bad. Free BLM camping. This is not the exact sight listed, but one of the many in the area. Raining on arrival so a muddy, rough ride in, but take it slow and not so bad. Lots of ATV activity, but the rain is keeping the dust to zero. I suppose it could be bad if it was dry. Still, not a bad spot." - Adventures with Jane

Southern California - Sequoia NF

https://freecampsites.net/alder-creek-alta-sierra/

"I camped here in August in a RAV4. Right after the sign theres the main camping area with a vault toilet. I went a little farther down the road and found some more spaced out sites. No cell or water. Nice creek and some pygmy owls calling nearby. Road in is okay, mostly dirt." - Teabagger

San Luis Valley, Colorado
https://freecampsites.net/lake-como-road/
"Great spot! There are three RV accessible sites, many more up the hill if you're tent camping or in a 4X4 equipped camper. The dirt road in was moderately smooth with some minor washboard. The views of Blanca Peak are nothing short of spectacular!" - NoMadYesHappy

Awesome lakeside spot with stellar views. Sheps Canyon, South Dakota
https://freecampsites.net/angostura-state-park/

"This particular spot has paid and free sites. Of course we went with the freebies. There was a handful of other folks camped on this reservoir because there was plenty room for more rigs to pull up and camp. This place in Sheps Canyon was great because of all the wide open views once you got there. We would have stayed there a couple days if we didn’t have plans for a nice hot shower in Rapid City! Most noteworthy is that this spot also had pit toilets a short walk from where we were camped. No water and no trash. The usual pack it in – pack it out. FreeCampsites coming through again with another steller spot." -
