I'm excited to announce that I'll be escorting a walking tour on part on the Camino Trail in Spain (Leon - Santiago de Compostela) over the period 26 Sep 17 to 14 Oct 17.

Day 2 was an interesting day for me. To guage whether my passion for photography was isolating me from other things around me I set an intention to not take a photo all day. Was very interesting. I actually heard more things and didn't even miss the camera.
So no photos from me today.

Day 1 of our Camino. Pretty country side, some good Americano coffee along the way and beer at the end.

Staying in lovely hotel on a little river that runs through Allariz. Judy and I went for walk into town. Had lunch at Afabrica which on te edge of the cascades (attached )
I guess you can imagine why I thought I was in photographers heaven.

Madrid has fantastic architecture and culture. Did a couple of bus tours around city for bearings. Met with a friend (Adrian) of Judy's friend (Clare) who showed us around parts of Madrid. Sangria at the "The Cave" was amazing.

Met up with Judy Whiteman in Madrid today. Staying in the Hotel Lusso Infantas. Weather is a lovely 30c, bit warmer than the UK.

Hadrians Wall Walk - day2. Another 25 km walk today. Much more interesting for photos.

Today, day 1 of Hadrians Wall was mainly a long 25km walk with a couple of teasers on the way. Tomorrow is where i see some good roman ruins, apparently.
Anyway, the countryside was great so i got to take a few snaps along the way.

Well, de ja vue. I'm back in Newie - Upon the Tyne that is. Very friendly tribe here, much like home. Staying at Kleemans Lodge which has craft beers. Could get ugly.
My team in the walk is me! Which is fine as I enjoy my own company and it will give me time to reflect on life at hand.

After a great time at Nick and Imy's, seeing sites and doing a challenge, taking a bus from Birmingham to Newcastle today in preparation for 3 day walk along the Roman's Hadrian Wall.

Well today's ascent of Snowdon (http://www.visitsnowdonia.info/snowdon_walks_-_6_routes-95.aspx) in Wales was certainly more of a challenge than I expected. 1085m ascent of 8km on a very rough track. Started at 0930, finished 1730. Big day.
We conquered. Here's some pic's.

Settled into 24 Central Park Drive after a great weekend at Rory and Wendy's in the North Brewham, Bruton area.
