POLITICS IN GABON - UPDATE!

The situation on the ground is very calm, there is no violence and people seem very happy about recent events.

Tourism will operate as normal.

International flights will resume on the 03rd of September.

We will update our social media if any changes do occur.

Forest Elephant in Akaka, Loango National Park's interior "jungle area", where there are bais as well as dense tropical primary forests and amazing boat safaris.
This elephant seems to have found a particularly muddy exit point!

Leatherback turtle returning to the ocean after depositing her eggs.

This is a photo from January 2023. She should return in 2024 🤞

The absolute best place to respectfully observe these beautiful mothers is in Pongara National Park - only one hour from Libreville by boat.

Reopen for tourism from June! Chimpanzee Trekking!

Beautiful Female Sitatunga in Loango National Park.

Elephants, buffalo, and red river hogs are regularly spotted in the savannas (beaches too) during the rainy season months.
But with a little luck, good timing and talented guiding there is way more wildlife to be found venturing out from the forests.
