Our latest 5 Star Review...
Robin’s place is beyond wonderful. I’ve stayed in lots of Airbnb but this one is at the very top of my list. First, the house itself is perfect. There are large windows at the back of the house looking out at the lovely river. The view is amazing. The house was extremely well equipped with pots, pans, dishes, spices. I could go on and on. The beds in both rooms were extremely comfy too. I recommend Robin’s place highly for anyone looking to stay in Kerrville or surrounding area.

TWO 1200 trout releases at the Guadalupe River....

The first of two planned rainbow trout releases took place today along the Guadalupe River in Louise Hays Park, with 1,200 trout being released into the water. The event offered up some great fishing opportunities for area citizens.

The rainbow trout are provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s A.E. Wood Fish Hatchery in San Marcos. The trout stocking is timed with winter water temperatures dropping below a level necessary for the survival of the trout.

A second release will occur on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022 consisting of another 1,200 rainbow trout.

Everyone is invited to come to Louise Hays Park for a unique fishing experience. Individuals over 17 years of age are required by law to have a valid freshwater fishing license. As per statewide regulations, there is no minimum length limit and the daily bag limit is five trout. For information regarding Community Fishing Lakes, fishing regulations, license requirements and rainbow trout fishing tips, please visit www.tpwd.state.tx.us.

We really enjoyed the Riverfront Home in downtown Kerrville. It was so convenient to everything and it had everything we needed...kayaks, floats, bikes, corn hole, 2 bar-b-que pits, towels for the river with great laundry facilities, well stocked kitchen and pantry as well as a nice covered area to sit and relax for the intermittent shower...everything we needed to enjoy our time on the river. Check-in was a breeze and Robin was available and ready to answer any questions. It was so nice to walk down to the water and hop in a kayak to paddle around in the river or over to the park or grab a float and just relax in the water. We saw deer and ducks and had a lot of chirping birds talking it up in the mornings. Beds were great...slept like a log and just enjoyed everything about this place. So much so that we locked it in for next summer! Thanks Robin! - Randy
