1. By the end of 2023, air travel worldwide had returned to 98% of 2019 (pre-pandemic) levels.

The IATA report indicates that Thanksgiving 2023 was the highest-traffic Thanksgiving on record. International travel levels were about 5% behind pre-pandemic levels in the 4th quarter.

The travel story of the year so far is the Icon of the Seas, Royal Caribbean's new and world's-largest ocean liner. Today it will be christened in Port of Miami with the help of Lionel Messi. Not another side hustle?!

Hi friends, it's Padraic, and yes I'm really doing this.
