Good day everyone! Thanks for your joining, discussing and updating tourism news during out chitchat meeting last Saturday! We would love to thanks to Amber Angkor Villa Hotel & Spa for your lovely and professional meeting room. Please kindly find the link for your lovely photo by Ratana Minh. Let me recap what we have discussed and updated during the meeting:
- Introduce training project organized by CATA
- Concern over the lack of manpower in tourism professionalism when tourist start to return
- Tourism staff salary in Siem Reap is too low compare to other destination
- More Indian market requests
- Tourists after Covid19 put more attention to the environment care (Plastic-free), study by online company
- Restaurants with performance start to open daily, restaurant for tourists incentive group (MICE) available
- Gasoline price up causing sales price up while tourists ask for lower price
- Problem at border with check in especially Khmer-Thai border
- Some hotels are not yet ready to be in standard due to lack of staff and staff's offer is not full time and low paid
- We should do more digital marketing for our destination
- Poor flight schedules and airfare is much higher than before pandemic
- Lack of facility, skills and sources from the community

As Cambodia open for all tourists, it is a good start of hope to return back to work. To get update from our team, we are going to arrange a discussion and family dinner to update information from each other as well as future plan to be ready to welcome tourists.
