Brazil Day 8: We landed in Sao Paulo and had a bit of time to explore the city park and Batman area before the main event. On our way to the Packer game we met up with friends we haven't seen in far too long! Even though the Packers didn't come away with a win it was an incredible experience to get to watch an NFL game in Brazil. Brazil, we will be back!

Brazil Day 7: Today was a whirlwind day! We did a 10 hour tour of Chapada Diamantia where we found hidden waterfalls, explored caves, hiked to the highest point in the region, went paddleboarding in a crystalline lake, and visited the blue grotto. You could explore this region for days, absolutely amazing!! Big day tomorrow, Go Pack Go!

Brazil Day 6: Today we headed inland towards the town of Lencois, the home base for hiking in Chapada Diamantia. We checked into our beautiful hotel and headed straight to the local county forest. We discovered many hidden waterfalls, beautiful sandstone colors, and wading pools - All home to previous diamond mining until 1993. We ended the night with dinner in town at a local restaurant. More hiking tomorrow!

Brazil Day 4: Today was a lazy day at the beach! We sat back with our Coronas and daiquiris and enjoyed the ocean waves. This afternoon we took a long walk and found more jellyfish and fresh coconuts on the beach.

Brazil Day 3: This morning we hopped on a plane from Rio to Slavador. We toured Salvador and learned it was where the Portuguese first touched land and therefore became Brazil's first capital city. We stopped at a local ice cream shop (the best in the city), enjoyed the views, and then made our way down the coast to check-in to our beach hotel for thr next few days! Our evening walk on the beach was beautiful and we even saw a few jelly fish in the sand. Fingers crossed for a sunny day tomorrow!

Brazil Day 2: This morning we drove to the outskirts of Rio to hike to Pedra de Telegrafo, a beautiful rock viewpoint down the coast. We met some monkeys along the way as well!! We spent the afternoon at the beach and enjoyed an amazing Brazillian steakhouse for dinner.

Brazil Day 1: We arrived in Rio and immediately hit the beach with a bucket of Coronas! This afternoon we took an open top jeep tour to Christ the Redeemer for incredible views of the city. Next we took the gondola to the top of Sugarloaf to watch the sunset over the city. An incredible first day!

Utah Day 3: Today we hiked to the Mesa Arch and the Great ViewPoint trail in Canyonlands National Park. Amazing views!! We headed back to Salt Lake City with a detour down America's Scenic Byway along the Colorado River. Back in SLC, we took a quick visit to the Great Salt Lake before settling in for the night. An incredible long weekend exploring Utah before a work conference!

Utah Day 2: Back to Arches National Park to hike the Devil's Garden primitive trail. It took us past landscape Arch, Navajo Arch, Private Arch and had us scaling boulders! We ended the night with a UTV adventure sunset tour. Climbing boulders, drifting in the sand, and vertical crawling led us to the Colorado River and a beautiful sunset view!!

Utah Day 1: Made our way to Arches National Park and hiked to Delicate Arch. This trail is not for the weak of heart but it was worth it!! We stopped at Balanced Rock before heading to Moab for quesadillas and margaritas!

Italy Day 7: Today we visited a local Parmigiano Reggiano factory and watched the full process of cheese making. We even learned the secret to picking out the real cheese when we get back to the states. Our next stop was the Ferrari museum, such amazing cars! We ended the night playing cards and drinking wine at our B&B. Arrivederci Italy!!

Italy Day 6: Today we finished the last two legs of the hike between the towns in Cinque Terre and were rewarded with a ferry ride down the coast! We left Cinque Terre and made our way to Parma for our last town in Italy. We checked into our adorable B&B and ordered in local pizza. Garret even found a pizza topped with French fries!

Italy Day 5: Today we made our way to the coastal area of Cinque Terre, or 5 towns. We checked into our hotel in Manarola and then geared up for hiking! We hiked from Monterosso to Corniglia and had incredible views of the sea. This evening we made our way back to Manarola to watch the sunset and enjoy some wine. Tomorrow we will hike the to the rest of the cities!

Italy Day 4: Today was a busy day! Our first stop was the town of Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo. Next up was to visit the iconic leaning tower of Pisa where we enjoyed some Gelato with the view. We enjoyed a pizza lunch in the walled town of Lucca. Back at our B&B we enjoyed some wine by the pool and ended the night with a funicular ride down the mountain to Montecatini Terme. What a day!

Italy Day 3: This morning we checked into our B&B and enjoyed the incredible tower views over Montecatini Terme. The afternoon consisted of a private Chianti vineyard tour where we learned all about the wine, olive oil process, and enjoyed an amazing lunch sourced with all local ingredients from the farm. Our last stop was the historic town of San Gimignano!

Italy Day 2: Today we visited San Marino, a country within Italy, and got another passport stamp! This beautiful country sits a top of a hill and has amazing views all the way to the ocean! We ended the night at a small local restaurant with a historic wine cellar in the basement.

Italy Day 1: Arrived in Bologna and enjoyed a day exploring the city. We visited a cathedral, climbed the clock tower, and found the hidden canals of Bologna!
