We had a great day at sea onboard! It started off with a beautiful sunrise from our balcony, and breakfast at Cabanas. Then I headed up to the adults-only pool area to enjoy one of my books, whilst Warren headed to the gym and the Rainforest. When he was done, we swapped seats and I headed to the track for some sea miles. After our workouts, we grabbed a light lunch at the quick service on the pool deck, and relaxed a bit more before getting ready for the dessert experience.

The dessert experience is at Remy, one of the adults-only fine dining restaurants onboard. It consists of 6 different desserts created by the pastry team with an optional wine pairing. Other drinks are available for an additional fee, and the sommelier from the champagne tasting was there to walk you through all the wines or help pair other beverages of your choice. The team also had gluten-free versions of each one for Warren, and he opted for the wine pairing. This was an amazing experience!

Once we were done, we walked around the decks a bit then headed to Animator’s Palate for dinner. It was formal night, and so many guests looked amazing! After such a great dessert experience, we opted for a light dinner, then headed to the adults-only area to check out the Super Bowl and snack spread.

Since neither of us are football or Taylor fans, we went to enjoy the stage show tonight, which was Frozen! We really enjoyed the show. The entire cast and crew are so talented. When the show was over, we went back to our room to catch the end of the game and go to sleep. It’s been a great cruise so far!

Embarkation day onboard the beautiful Disney Fantasy:

We boarded early and enjoyed a quick lunch in Cabanas before exploring the ship. The Fantasy is the sister ship to the Disney Dream (my favorite in the Disney fleet), so she has similar features with different theming. Warren was able to set up his Rainforest pass for the duration of the cruise, and we set off to drop our bags off in our room then head to our champagne tasting. The tastings are an excellent value onboard! You get to learn about what you’re drinking in addition to drinking some good quality beverages. The sommelier leading the tasting is also the sommelier at Remy. He was excellent! After the tasting, we decorated our stateroom door, then headed to dinner at Royal Court. For dinner, I had the escargot appetizer, roasted duck entree, and opera gateau for dessert. Warren enjoyed his gluten-free meal of the potato and leek soup, the roasted duck, and crème brûlée. Disney is fantastic with food allergies! After a post-dinner beverage, we headed to our room for an early bedtime.
