Lille Hus was our Airbnb. Built about 100 years ago, It took two years to pay off the repairs needed to make it a cozy retreat. With over 300 reviews we've been a super host for years. People have stayed with us from all over the world, from many walks of life, for so many reasons! We've hosted artists, writers, honeymooners, explorers, and people needing to get away from a stressful life. They've walked through our conservation woodland and soaked up the peace.
Clackamas county has announced an end to short-term rentals on exclusive farm use land. So all farm and timber airbnbs will be forced to close.
This tiny house will never become a long-term rental. There is no kitchen. This was a perfect use and we are very sorry that it has to come to an end. We felt like an ambassador for the Willamette valley and Oregon and conservation work.
The income was very important to us.
What makes me crazy is they still allow people to open noisy event centers which drive up congestion, traffic, noise, pollution... Our neighbor's venue can have 200 people partying with thumping music. But we can't host two quiet guests.
I just don't understand.
