Trail Sleuth is a village square for athletes and organisers. You can meet, share your training and your events and shoot the breeze. Whilst training for the Paris Marathon, I found it increasingly frustrating not being able to talk with other people who were taking part to talk about the course, getting there, hotels and of course the nerves!! I’m a runner, swimmer and cyclist. I should point out
that I’m not particularly good at any of these activities, but I do love them. Hence, Trail Sleuth is for people of all levels who love sports and activities of all types. Nobody is excluded and hopefully you will find a like-minded group regardless of your activity and how good you are. Event organisers can post what they’re doing for free so athletes (I include everybody in that term – Walkers, Horse Riders, you name it) can have a look through what’s on if they want to take part in an official event. You can also get together as a group of entrants in a race and talk about it as there’s a place to chat at the bottom of every listings page. There is also a place to put up your own training routes and the trails you love. If you want to try out somebody else’s training routes you can tell them with the chat feature in that section too. And of course if you just want to chat about the trials and tribulations of loving your sport (the injuries, the frustrations, the sheer joy!) you can just chat away on the blue button. We are on Twitter or you can drop us a line at [email protected].
