Google won't be scrapping third-party cookies on its Chrome browser anymore and has decided to keep third-party cookies in its internet browser after years of pledging to scrap them. In an announcement on its blog, the internet company said it would not be "deprecating third-party cookies" anymore. Instead, Google promised to introduce a new feature of its internet browser that "lets people make an informed choice that applies across their web browsing."

After years of back and forth, the maker of the Chrome browser decides not to scrap third-party cookies.

New email authentication requirements now in effect.

As you may have heard, Gmail and Yahoo have announced new Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance \(DMARC\) email authentication requirements. Bulk senders will need to comply with the new standards as of February 2024. In short, you now need DKIM, SPF, & DMARC to guarantee the best deliverability to your recipients. The industry is, generally, moving toward stricter authentication and security requirements. In light of this, we recommend all domain owners take action to future-proof.

What action should you take?

To prevent emails from being sent to spam or rejected, a valid SPF record and DMARC record must be present on the domain's DNS records. Yahoo, specifically, will also require DKIM.

If you have domains under management with us, you'll want to add these records via our domains platform.

If you have mailboxes under management with us, you'll want to add these records via our email platform.

If you do not have domains of mailboxes under management with us let us know and we can assist or transfer services over with all required records implemented.
