We are licensed/accredited Tour Guides who have undergone trainings from the Department of Tourism Philippines. Simply known as the NM RANGERS, we are an organization of professionals, all in the business of promoting and practicing sustainable tourism in Northern Mindanao. Our common interest is tour guiding. BEHIND THE NAME

A RANGER is a wanderer; a rover; a person in charge of the protection a

nd management of a specific region (forest, park, estate, reserve, etc.). A TOURIST DIRECTORY is a collection of information - names, addresses, products, services, facilities, amenities, tours, promos, etc. - pertaining to the tourism industry of a certain region or area. A TOUR GUIDE is defined as "an individual who assists, accompanies, supervises or leads tourists or travelers around a specific area or on a tour." A TOUR GUIDE must be knowledgeable of the history of the region, the landmarks of the destinations, the ins and outs of the localities and everything else in between. Therefore, the NM RANGER is a TOUR GUIDE - a walking, talking and interactive TOURIST DIRECTORY in charge of the protection and preservation of the NORTHERN MINDANAO Tourism Industry.
