What a lot of TLC on a log home can do 💕

We
Blasted the wood down to naked raw wood
Sanded it
Conditioned the wood

And *drom roll*…

6 coats of stain!!!

To get the glossy sheen we needed to protect our home from the elements 💨 ⛈️ ❄️ ☀️

It only took firing the first contractor and hiring a much more competent second one.

And a little love on the garage doors to freshen them up by yours truly 😁

Life is full of learning moments (some would call them challenges) — we are grateful for all the opportunities to learn, grow, and find even more backbone 🙄😂💕

I finally had a moment to go downstairs to my guest suite — needed to place a few things there for a dear friend who is coming to stay.

And to take a look in my guest book…

This note was left by my recent guests. We clicked. Her sons carried Mr Kitty and Samson around like teddy bears. Asked if the kitties could hang with them inside — sure!
