Sunday morning in Nashville started out with my hopping on the Hop On Hop Off bus so I could see more of Nashville. What a great way to see a new city and learn some about the history. I only hopped off a couple of times. The bus took us right down Music Row, which was interesting and fun. Who knew that a lot of the country music is made in houses that have been turned into recording studios. See the comments for some videos.

Those of you who know me know that I usually post sunrise pics, regardless of where I am. I had to get one this morning on the way to my meetings.

After a full day of meetings, I needed dinner, but was also headed to a ghost tour. I found a place to eat close to the meeting place for the ghost tour and as luck would have it, they had vegan milkshakes! Score. I couldn't pass it up.

After dinner, I headed to the meeting place for the ghost tour, which happened to be the capital building. I took a few pictures before the tour actually began. Once the tour began, I kept taking pictures and videos in hopes of catching a glimpse of a shadow somewhere in one of them. No such luck.

The tour guide was amazing and she had a great personality. I learned a lot about some of Nashville's history, including the fact that there use to be a tunnel from a brothel to the men's restroom of a fancy hotel (and yes, we did go in - not the picture with the shoe shine and telephone in it - that's the men's restroom!)

After getting to the hotel and dropping off the luggage, I knew I needed to find something to eat before the afternoon meetings. I asked the lobby bartender if he knew of any vegetarian/vegan options nearby and he sent me to the Copper Branch. It was a short walk and I passed by Broadway, getting a glimpse for the first time.

At Copper Branch, I ordered the Aztec bowl, which wasn't bad, but I'm also a carb girl and got some fries. They were greasy and soggy and did not get the seal of approval from me.

After the meetings, I decided to do dinner on my own since the group was eating at a place that didn't look like it had options for me. I had seen recently that Garth Brooks new h***y tonk had opened and when I checked the menu, there was a veggie burger on it. That's where I headed. It was a little crowded since the NCAA tournament was also going on, but I shared a table with some ladies who happened to be routing for the Aggie's opponents. We had a good time.

I checked out Broadway a little bit before heading back for the evening. So many great places. And, when in Nashville, you have to try on a Cowboy hat.

When I hopped off the plane at LAX (🤣)….oh wait, I mean Nashville, this was one of the first things I saw. As a yoga teacher, I had to follow directions and do warrior two. It was a little awkward in the shoes I was in, but no one was looking, right?

Those of you that know me well, know that I love to travel and the beach is one of my favorite places. I love researching for trips and fun things to do while there (yes, I even did a triathlon when visiting Hawaii years ago). My family has always said I should be a travel agent and I've thought about it before.

After our cruise at the end of last year, the travel bug hit hard. There are so many more places I want to go and want to see and I'm having fun doing research for our summer adventure (more to come on that later). Since I love planning trips, I thought, why not plan trips for other people?

So, I recently became a travel agent and added to my list of things I can help you with. If you have an upcoming trip that you need help planning, I'd love to be the one to help.
