Tuscany Walking is based in Barga which is in a little known corner of Tuscany on the edge of the Garfagnana National Park. The region is one of traditional living and is set amongst some of the most spectacular scenery that Tuscany has to offer. Tuscany Walking accommodation is a welcoming, family run agriturismo in Tiglio a tranquil spot near Barga which offers a very high standard of hospitalit

y and comfort with beamed rooms decorated in the traditional style of Tuscany and a wonderful swimming pool, which is perfect for relaxation after your walks. Dinners on walking days will be taken in Barga where you will be able to eat local dishes from the Garfagnana and the region prepared from seasonal fresh local produce. Lunches are picnics using local traditional recipes, fresh focaccia and fruits of the season. Tuscany Walking also offer walking holidays where you can provide your own meals. In this unspoilt region we have the Garfagnana National Park, Orecchiella Park and the Apuane Alps. We believe there is something to offer all of our guests whether it be the exhilarating views of the area, sleepy hill-top villages or chestnut woods where you can see and hear how life in this part of Italy was once lived and with English and Italian guides (English is spoken on your walks) we will help you to get the most out of your walking holiday in Italy. We are a family run company and believe in giving you the best service we can. We are dedicated to helping you get the best out of your holiday in Tuscany and are always on hand to help you. We hope that you will take away long lasting memories of a traditionally Italian experience.

Our Story

Small Group Guided Walking Holidays in Tuscany

We have been guiding small groups walking in Tuscany since 2005 and with our experience of the area, we have put together interesting and inspiring walking programs for all levels of experience, in this most beautiful corner of Italy.

Accommodation is in a family run agriturismo with an outdoor pool and stunning views. Meals are traditionally prepared using old recipes and served with lashings of wine.
