Vitas's Stage Vitas (born 19 February 1981, Daugavpils, Latvian SSR), is a Russian pop singer, composer, actor, and fashion designer.

He is most commonly known by his shortened first name, Vitas, or Витас in Russian. Vitas is known as a Russian pop singer, fashion designer and composer. His music features a broad range of genres, including pop, jazz, techno, classical opera and folk music. Vitas first gained popularity in Russia with the song "Opera #2" in December 2000, which was viewed frequently on the internet. This helped h

im achieve worldwide recognition. Since then, within a span of 10 years, Vitas has ⋯⋯released 12 albums internationally. He continues to gain worldwide popularity, especially in Asia. In China, he has appeared as a guest role in two movies, in addition to the hugely successful concert tours and appearances across the country. In 2011, Vitas completed a very successful tour in the USA and Canada with the "Sleepless Night" program. A return tour is planned for the USA-Canada in 2012!
