And ball keeps rolling. We shot this brute of a Warthog on one of our exclusive 80 000 ha Free Range concessions in the Kalahari. The quality of game in this area is truly out of this world. Being able to hunt these animals fair and freely is what hunting is about. ******er **er

After two nights of hard hunting we finally managed to get a Beautiful Spotted Hyena. These guys have to be one of the coolest animals in Africa. Well done to Brenton on a brilliant snap shot. ******er **er

Brenton being an experienced hound hunter back home, decided he wanted to take his chance running with our Bushpig Pack. With that we managed to pick up on a big boar and and sow of which Brenton shot both! The boar was bayed up in some thick reeds along the river and the sow came rushing passed us! ******er **er

Continuing on our streak of incredible animals, Brenton's one priority was to hunt a true free range Nyala Bull. We started the morning off by glassing over a healthy population of Nyala but nothing quite broke the 28 1/2". After a quick bush lunch, we were back at it and with that came this bull feeding along a thicket not far from a road. We managed to get down and into a position where our only shot was a frontal head shot. Although its not a typical shot for a client, there was no chance we were letting this bull get away! ******er **er

After walking behind this bull for 4 hours, we finally caught up to him and with that Brenton made a great shot to secure this outstanding animal. Sometimes everything happens for a reason and hunting these magnificent animals walk and stalk has to be one of the best hunts you can do. ******er **er

After a long 18 day Safari, Brenton from Australia managed to take some serious life time trophies with us. We started off our hunt with this beautiful Sable bull which surprised all of us with its extreme mass and super length. ******er **er

put in an amazing 350m plus shot on this beautiful Mountain Reedbuck. After spotting him bedded with his females right on top of the opposite mountain we decided to wait him out instead of trying to get closer. ******er **er

So finally managed to get his Vaal Reebok. We hunted extremely hard for a good fews days chasing these guys around the mountains. After seeing at least 10 to 25 a day we eventually managed to find a solid ram. Unfortunately due to really poor management and over hunting, nearly all of the males we saw were all to young. Now thats this is one of our exclusive hunting concessions we can begin to manage it properly! Watch this space in the future! ******er **er

After our morning success on a Cape Bushbuck, we turned our attention to hunting Common Reedbuck. As luck would have it, not long into the hunt some serious mist pulled in which put a break to the hunting. After sitting it out this beautiful ram decided to start making his way off a small hill and into the lands which allowed to get off a shot. ******er **er

An awesome late afternoon Free Range Fallow Deer for Danie. We bumbed into quite a few over the duration of the hunt but 'clever' is an understatement for the fallows in this area. Walk and stalk bow hunting is definitely not as easy as one would think. Lots of careful planning and patience is needed especially when you are hunting in a Free Range area. ******er **er

Here is Danie with his once in a life time Mountain Reedbuck. We spotted this guy from about 300m and slowly stalked into 54m before Danie took his shot. With very limited cover in the mountains, we got amongst a group of cattle and slowly moved with them towards the reedbuck. Everything came together that day and this was the result. For many coming on safari in Africa is about the adventures, the hunts and not just the killing. Here at Adroda we strive to give our clients the ultimate experience of real hunting in Free range areas. Nothing is guaranteed but we will hunt our hardest to find it. ******er **er

So after glassing over more than 30 Mountain Reedbuck on one concession, this ram made his appearance. Blind in one eye, extreme secondary growth, one horn about to snap at the base and teeth that wouldn't see him through winter, the hunt was on. We were extremely lucky to get into a shootable position and make a great shot. ******er **er

Its always special bumping into a Bushpig during day light. Whilst hunting Mountain Reedbuck we spotted this lone sow on the move. A quick scramble to get the gun and a fast run through some tall thatch grass, abled us to get a shot at her before she entered a thick bush line. ******er **er

Whilst on our way back to camp 'Private' our game scout stopped us to look at this Black Mamba that had been run over. Hunting the true wilds of Africa behind no fences is the ultimate experience for a hunter. Our concession in Zimbabwe hosts over 280 000 hectares of raw, untamed hunting. ******er **er

Arne with his priority animal, The Cape Bushbuck. We hunted this ram during the last 15 mins of light on the last day of the hunt. After spotting him come out of a river bed over 2km away we started making a plan to get to him before dark. We managed to stop the vehicle about 800m from where we had last seen the ram and started stalking through a very wet marsh and up onto a a recently cut silage land. Once we caught up to him, he had disappeared back into the thickets along the river. As we were going to call it due to bad light something caught my eye and as I picked up my binos I saw a piece of white on his neck. Arne got onto the sticks and made the only shot which was a fairly high neck shot. The ram dropped on the spot, as we walked closer he got up and plunged straight into the river where Arne quickly made a follow up shot. After a 2 and a half hour recovery we could finally sit and admire this incredible bushbuck ram. This ancient monster is what 100% Free Range hunting is all about. Bert with his superb Midlands Warthog. After glassing a herd of Hartebeest in the distance, Boysen the farm representative spotted this old guy walking towards a thick clump of bush along the river. Once the boar had entered we made our move and got into a position hoping for it to carry on up stream. All of a sudden he came walking straight towards us and with that Bert made an excellent snap shot which dropped him in his tracks. For an area not really known for warthog let alone big tusks, the boar was undoubtedly one of the biggest if not the biggest ever hunted on that specific farm. Well done to all on this amazing Warthog. ******er **er @ KwaZulu-Natal

Well done Bert on this truly amazing Red Hartebeest bull. After passing up on over 15 to 20 bulls on two different concessions we finally decided that this was our bull. With that we stalked into within 140m of the herd as they were bedded down. After some patience the group started standing up and grazing away slowly and this bull presented us with a slight countering on shot. ******er **er

After spotting this beautiful Mountain Reedbuck ram bedded down high in the mountains, we decided to put a stalk on him. With very limited cover in these mountains one has to be prepared for a fairly long distance shot. Once we got into position Arne put a great shot on the ram. Well done on an absolute Monster of a Midlands Reedbuck.

This has to be the holy grail for any hunter looking to challenge himself on 100% Free Range animals. Adroda has secured multiple exclusive concessions in the Midlands area through strict management and a good, honest relationship with the farmers. ******er **er

Last night we managed to get Ferdinand onto this absolute monster of a Midlands Boar. Our area has by far some of this biggest bushpig that Africa has to offer. Been able to hunt these amazing animals over bait and hounds, in my opinion are your best adrenaline rush hunts before you get to the Dangerous 7. ******er **er

A solid Bushpig boar shot two nights ago on one of our top areas. These pigs have developed a habit for digging under the acorn trees which has forced them closer and closer to digging up the greens on a local golf course. This is now number 9 for that specific spot. And a completely new sownder following the tradition. ******er **er

Another great morning with the hounds. Both these pigs were shot fighting. The boar was shot off the nest and sow bayed up after a long chase in the maize.
