Chatting Blue Sky projects with my 5 year old surely won’t backfire on me 😅 anyway….supposedly there is a new avengers ride coming! Please send hopes and prayers that Miles Morales makes an appearance. 😆

On my last trip, I got to try a restaurant that has been on my bucket list for a while! I knew this was a top rated restaurant but nothing beats experiencing things for yourself to really find out if they live up to the hype.
Narcoossee’s is a signature restaurant at the Grand Floridian Resort that sits right on the water. I was very impressed with the food. It was creative and fresh! We ordered the Ocean inspired Charcuterie board and the Plancha seared Scallops and Parisian gnocchi. Both were so delicious! Some of my favorite scallops on property.
I also ordered the Salted Marscapone Espresso Martini and the signature Old Fashioned. Both were good but I preferred the Old Fashioned.
The best part was the view for the fireworks. You can watch from your seat or you can go out to the deck. We enjoyed the show from the deck and it was like having a private viewing. It wasn’t crowded and we had a great view with the music piped in.
If you have a special occasion or just want amazing food with a great view, our Narcoossee’s on your list!
You’ll want to SAVE these NEW cookies if you are headed to Disneyland anytime soon! These are easily the best snack I have had in a while and they are seriously good cookies. Just thinking about them is making me hungry.
Here are the details:
You can find these in packs of 6 or 13 at Harbour Galley in Disneyland across from the Haunted Mansion. You can also get a side of the Cookie Butter Whipped Topping (highly recommend!)
You can mobile order these and easily pick them up. I definitely suggest this to ensure that you aren’t standing in a line or missing out on these delicious cookies.

If you only remember one tip about watching Magic Happens at Disneyland, make it this one!
The first parade starts by Small World and ends at the top of Main Street. While the second parade starts at the top of Main Street and ends by Small World.
Why is this important? For one, timing. The first ones to see the parade are the first ones done with the parade. If you are at the end of the parade route you’ll be sitting for the parade for longer overall. And secondly, crowds. If you aren’t watching the parade, you’ll want to know which direction the crowds will be moving once the parade starts finishing up.
Make sure to like and save for your next Disney trip. And FOLLOW ME @onlymagicaldays for more Disneyland vacation tips.
It’s a rite of passage really 😜

Shiki-Sai Sushi Izakaya is the newest restaurant in the Japan pavilion at Epcot. Sushi is one of my favorite foods so I had to give it a try.
First off, we were on the dining plan and it was hard to find info on what was included. Basically you get to pick between the two pre-fixe menus - Nishiki (sushi) or Gion (entrees). We tried both so we could try multiple things. We started things off with cocktails. They had the Violet Saki that is a fan favorite from the kiosk outside! We also had the Tokyo sunrise that was really good.
I was a little underwhelmed with the sushi offered in the pre-fixe. It was pretty basic stuff like California rolls and nigiri. In order from the Gion menu and got the Ishiyaki-Sukiyaki rice. It prepared table side (which is always fun) and was pretty good but I was expecting a little more flavor. They were very accommodating with the kids bento boxes and let us swap out for salmon rolls.
Overall I would give this a 7/10 on the dining plan. I really want to go back when we are not on the dining plan and order some rolls that weren’t available in the pre-fixed menu. I definitely think this place is better in more Rolf a family style, order and share situation!

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is back starting August 9th through October 31! This year they are changing a few things. Mickey and Minnie will debut new outfits, more villains will be around for picture opportunities, Bruno is being added to the party as a meet and greet with Mirabel, the first parade will be at an earlier time (which is great for those with you guys kids and they are adding a Descend-DANCE party.
As always there will be Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks, the Sanderson Sister stage show, and fun ride overlays. Trick or Treat stations will also be around the park so you can grab lots of candy.
Tickets go on sale for resort guests May 8th and everyone else on May 15th. This is one of my favorite parties (I even like it more than Oogie Boogie Bash) so if you are headed to Disney World this fall definitely look at adding it one night!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom has a lot of little hidden gems in it but I think this has to be the most hidden one. It took me several trips to Animal Kingdom before I even knew it was there. And it’s such a great area. You can see tigers, birds, bats, lizards and so many other animals. And each area is so beautifully themed. You’ll feel transported!
So where is this place…Maharaja Jungle Trek! It’s located back by Kali River Rapids. Make sure to check when it closes because it can close early.
Make sure to save this for your next Disney World trip and make sure to FOLLOW ME @onlymagicaldays for more Disney World tips! Also HBD Animal Kingdom!
