Tegal Wangi Beach is one of the most unique ‘hidden’ beaches to grace the western rim of the southern Bukit Peninsula, and despite the fact it’s not very well-known amongst locals, it is ‘in plain sight’, and publicly accessible. Tegal Wangi Beach is named after the temple perched on top of the limestone cliff that overlooks the coast, reachable via a paved road just to the right of the entrance of the glitzy Ayana Resort and Spa in Jimbaran.

Tegal Wangi Beach offers breathtaking seascapes with cool natural features – low tides and crimson sunsets reveal seaweed-covered stony barriers that add an abstract border and foreground to its wider ocean views. This beach was, quite casually, kept a secret among wedding photographers over time, admired for its simple and barren beauty making particularly exotic backdrops. The best time to visit is before sunset and around the ‘blue hour’ (18:00 – 19:00). A hundred meters or so down the winding road from the Ayana, a car park adjacent to the Pura Tegal Wangi temple is obstructed by a high wall, which adds more mystery to first-time visitors – or instead deter them altogether. But once you find your way in, small glimpses of the ocean panorama are visible behind the hill’s shrubbery. It’s these views of the Indian Ocean from a hundred meters up from Tegal Wangi Beach that draws young local couples to the grassy headland, all laying claim to each of the their ‘favourite spots’.

Mount Batur trekking is the most popular and one of the most challenging trekking activities that you have to do in Bali. It is the most recommended volcano trekking in Bali as seen on Tripadvisor, Lonely Planet and others guide Books.

Mount Batur is 1,717 meters high above sea level (the third highest peak in Bali) and considered as one of the sacred mountain according to Hindu belief. It is a semi active volcano located in Kintamani district of Bangli regency. The Kintamani area was once dominated by a massive volcano which created the 3 kilometer wide caldera now occupied by Lake Batur and the active volcano Mount Batur.
The scenery here alone is worth the journey but it is the view from the top that will forever stay in your mind, an experience that you will never forget. The trek to Mount Batur is the most recommended trekking destination in Bali and has been trekked by thousand trekking lovers from all around the world. Mount Batur is also one of the Global Geopark Network in South East Asia located in Bali.

It will take around 1.5 or 2 hours (depending on your fitness level) to climb the mountain. This is perfectly safe as you will be accompanied by a professional local trekking guide. BANYUWANGI – Bandar Udara (Bandara) Banyuwangi segera beroperasi sebagai bandara internasional dengan penerbangan perdana rute Kuala Lumpur (KL) – Banyuwangi yang akan dimulai pada pertengahan Desember 2018
Peningkatan akses transportasi ini akan mendorong kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara (wisman) ke kabupaten berjuluk Sunrise of Java itu. Menteri Pariwisata (Menpar) Arief Yahya menegaskan, jika Banyuwangi ingin menjadi destinasi kelas dunia, aspek 3A (atraksi, amenitas, aksesibilitas) juga harus kelas dunia
Dari aspek aksesibilitas, Bandara Banyuwangi harus menjadi bandara internasional. ”Targetnya sebetulnya tahun depan, tapi semoga bisa lebih cepat sehingga tahun ini akan diresmikan penerbangan perdana rute internasional ke Banyuwangi dari Kuala Lumpur,” ucap Menpar di sela-sela peresmian Taman Gandrung Terakota di Banyuwangi, Sabtu (20/10)
Bupati Banyuwangi Abdullah Azwar Anas mengatakan, dalam sepekan terakhir PT Angkasa Pura (AP) II selaku pengelola Bandara Banyuwangi sudah mulai merombak ruang terminal VIP untuk dijadikan terminal internasional sementara, sembari menunggu pembangunan terminal internasional yang diagendakan pada 2019. ”Kalau ini (terminal internasional sementara) selesai, maka pertengahan Desember, menurut surat yang kami terima, Angkasa Pura akan memulai rute internasional,” ungkapnya
Untuk maskapainya, lanjut Anas, sejauh ini pihak maskapai Citilink sudah mengajukan rute internasional KL – Banyuwangi dan sudah mendapatkan slot time dari KL. Sejalan dengan itu, fasilitas imigrasi juga tengah disiapkan. ”Kami sudah rapat dengan bea cukai, imigrasi, Angkasa Pura. Mereka menyatakan dukungannya,” tuturnya
Anas meyakini pembukaan rute internasional akan semakin meningkatkan arus wisatawan ke Banyuwangi. Hal itu diamini Komisaris Utama AP II Rhenald Kasali yang memproyeksikan peningkatan kunjungan wisman asal ASEAN dan China ke Indonesia, khususnya Banyuwangi. ”Masyarakat Asia ini mayoritas berwisata di regionalnya, terbangnya rata-rata di bawah empat jam. Jadi, kita harapkan wisman dari kawasan ASEAN plus China akan berkunjung ke Banyuwangi
