We charter only the finest Bertram cruisers, when we fish offshore.
The 34' crafts are equipped with high quality fishing rods, reels, gear and tackle. The boats have bathrooms and all the amenities needed to make for a comfortable day fishing the warm Mexican waters.
20' Pangas are our inshore mode of transportation while fishing for giant Rooster fish and the most formidable advisory, in my opinion...the Jack Crevalle aka "El Toro"!
A bout of 45 minutes is not uncommon. You'll be challenged and tested, trying to subdue one of these behemoths on light tackle!
A big Jack will test your stamina and skill as they take you from stem to stern, again and again!
You can also plan on catching Blue Marlin and possibly, striped Marlin. Fantastic fishing for the many other species comes along with the territory.
Zihuatinajo is also famous for wonderful weather and fabulous people, time seems to have taken a siesta in the warmth, as no one is in any hurry to do anything...except, maybe fishing!

Off to Alaska soon - enjoying some Utah fishing first!

Anglers Odyssey is heading north to Alaska for another epic adventure! We would like to offer a warm angler's hand for you to join us in the remote fishing community of Petersburg, Alaska. We are looking forward to sharing this trip with Captain Steve Henline and friends. This area of Alaska has so much to offer, but we plan on focusing on catching the big fish Alaska is so famous for: King Salmon will be running during our time in Petersburg, along with other Salmon species in the bay and those running up the tributaries to spawn. Along with these fish, the harbor always produces gigantic Halibut along with the many other bottom fish that equate to the best table fair any water has to offer.

Come and take part in this wonderful fishery and see if you have what it takes to bring a ''barn door'', aka, Halibut from the depths of Alaska's Oceans, or maybe a King, Dolley Varden or Grayling from shore.

If the wonderful angling isn't enough, we will be enjoying all this table fair from the balcony of our lodge and a daily shore lunch each afternoon while we let our muscles recover from the strenuous workout awaiting you! Along with the fish we catch, we will be setting Crab pots and Shrimp traps to supplement our appetites. June is a wonderful time of year to visit Alaska and we will have two weeks of fishing to choose from. Pack your bags and lets do this! Remember... in life, its not what you do...its what you don't!
