Even though 2023 presented us with many weather cancellations and rescheduled guests, we still had fun with the few flights we were able to get in. So enjoy a slideshow of our highlights from 2023! Finally some good weather for a flight! Becky and Jamie have been patiently waiting for a long time. They have been rescheduled for weather so many times I stopped counting. But the terrific flight tonight was worth the wait! We flew over Rush Lake and saw a lot.of wildlife. We even had a family watch us land and then help us pack up! Thanks to Brenda, Brian, Paige and Justin for crewing tonight!

Unfortunately the weather didn't want to fully cooperate tonight for the Brighton BBCubed event. But 10 pilots and over 50 crew still managed to inflate the balloons for a bit and make a small hop flight across the field before the storms rolled in. Definitely not the weather we had hoped for but these awesome pilots and amazing crew did what they could to put on a good show for the crowd! Thank you to all the pilots and crew!

UPDATE: It appears we have enough help now! Thank you. We could use some people to help crew for 10 hot air balloons Saturday evening (July 15th). Event is at Brighton Acres on Fisk Ave near Oshkosh. Roughly 4pm to 9pm. You would help set up the balloon, chase it and help pack it up for the flight and balloon glow. Please let us know if you want to get up and close to these gentle giants and help out!

Then Saturday the 15th is BBCubed in Oshkosh! Tons of great food and 10 balloons for an evening flight and glow.

Of course both are weather dependent so fingers crossed for great weather!

Had a great flight this morning with a father and daughter Glen and Sara. It was a beautiful morning for a flight traveling 6 miles in 58min. Shout-out to our great crew, and the Omro RV Park and the Bradley's for letting us use their properties

Attention those who were rescheduled from previous years and gift certificate holders. I finally got the booking calendar up and running to get you on the schedule!

If you are one of those who hold a gift certificate or were rescheduled prior and still waiting for a ride please TEXT us at (920) 228-2359 to get the info on how to book this season.

Unfortunately currently due to the extremely poor flying weather last year we will currently not be taking any NEW bookings for the 2023 season unless we get all of our rescheduled guests flown early in the season. We will post any updates on here and our webpage.

We are also still looking for some additional crew members. And crew members who crew a number of times get a free ride(s) as well! Message us here for more info!

For everyone in the Green Bay TV market tonight, Saturday, May 20th, at 6:30 p.m. p.m. WFRV TV5 will be doing an episode of Discover Wisconsin featuring the Wausau balloon rally. You can see our good friend Sonja make an awesome drop during the competition and our balloon is in the background of a few of the shots as well! So tune in if you're not up to anything

Hey everyone, really exciting news! This morning Pilot Mike and Brenda had a meeting with the great people at Brighton Acres and we are excited to announce we will be bringing a balloon event to Oshkosh! So be sure to plan to attend what will be the first annual BBCubed - Brighton Barbeque Bash balloon rally right here in the Oshkosh area! So mark your calendars for Saturday July 15th to see 10 balloons fly from the Brighton Acres property and then come back for an evening balloon glow! There is going to be some world class BBQ as this is an official Kansas City BBQ Society competition event, as well as other fun activities! More details to come soon!

Hey everyone! We've been kind of quiet on here lately due to job changes and some family medical issues keeping us very busy. But we are starting to get back to normal and getting into the swing of things for the 2023 season!

We plan to start back up with the rest of our crew bio series here as well!

We hope to get back in the air soon!

'Twas The Night Before Christmas

Twas the Night Before Christmas in the balloon pilot's home, the weather reports he could not leave alone.
The balloon was packed away in the trailer with care, with with hopes of flying in the still morning air.
The chase crew was nestled all snug in their beds, while dreams of easy pack-ups danced in their heads.
The champagne's on ice, the weather on TV, will there be a morning flight, we'll just have to see.
When out on the launch field there arose such a sound, I ran outside and began to look around.
To the left and the right was nothing to see, nothing moving on the ground, could I be crazy?
When what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a hot air balloon propelled by reindeer!
And a little old pilot, so lively and and quick, I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
At the speed of the wind he floated my way, and he whistled and shouted and called them by name.
On Wicker and Nylon, on Burner and Propane. On Chase Truck and Trailer, on Crackers and Champagne.
From the top of clouds to the tops of the trees. We'll be landing now, so please bend your knees.
And then in a twinkling I heard on the roof, a propane powered burner, just a quick p**f.
I went back inside and and looked all around, down the chimney the pilot came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur from his head to his toes, and the distinct smell of propane you you could sense on his clothes.
An envelope bag full of toys by his side, and a stack of certificates for private balloon rides.
He spoke not word, turned his radio down low. The chase elves kept calling, which road should we go?
With the presents all placed at this particular stop, up the chimney he went, this was but a hop.
He climbed in his basket, gave the burners a blast, and gently ascended, not overly fast.
Then I heard him call out as he floated into the night, Merry Christmas to all, and to all a safe flight!
