Food & Wine Festival season is officially here until November 23rd. Sample flavors around the world showcase that is 😉

While it can be hot & humid even throughout September, visiting WDW anytime is a good idea in our book! Stay hydrated, pack handheld (and stroller fans), your rain cover for your stroller and a poncho or umbrella. Then cool off in your resort pool in the afternoons!

It’s OFFICIALLY June and you know what that means… Summer is HERE! ☀️

June is a great time to head to Walt Disney World before summer traveling is in full swing! Expect some crowds all summer long, and I highly recommend getting by with a little help with my friend Genie+!

June is the start of rainy season, but rest assured Disney has PLENTY of indoor rides and attractions, pack a poncho (and don’t forget a stroller cover!!) and you’ll be good to go! The heat typically ranges between 80-90’s on average, I highly recommend bringing a stroller fan for your toddler to help them keep cool (bonus get a second and have one on YOU while you push the stroller!)

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets go on sale May 8th for Disney resort guests, and May 15th for non Disney resort guests.

The dates for 2024 are:

August 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30

September 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29

October 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party does require a separate ticket! It is very popular and does typically sell out, especially for parties closer to Halloween!

Here are our TOP 5 tips for Navigating Food Allergies / Restrictions at Walt Disney World!

✨TIP 1: Know Before You Go!
Do your research, look at blogs, read the allergy friendly menus on the “My Disney Experience” app - they’re located at the bottom of each menu online. For buffets, you’ll be given an allergy guide when you arrive to your reservation. To view them in advance I recommend looking at blogs for specific menus, is one of my favorite resources!

✨TIP 2: Decide on Comfort Level!
Are you comfortable eating from a buffet with your food allergy or restriction? Or do you feel more comfortable getting food from the back? Do you feel comfortable ordering with your server / manager or would you prefer speaking to the allergy chef? Do you want to order food at quick service locations or would table service suit your family better? You know your allergy and comfort level best!

✨TIP 3: Plan in Advance!
Like I mentioned be sure to KNOW before you go, then once you decide your comfort level it’s time to PLAN! Dining reservations open up 60 days before your stay- this is where a travel agent definitely comes in handy booking for them at 6am EST 😉

✨TIP 4: Grocery Order!
I recommend ordering your families favorite allergy friendly snacks, waters and fresh fruit/veggies for your resort so you can not only save some money, but also have some of your “go to” favorite snacks.

✨TIP 5: Don’t Let your Guard Down!
While Disney is the happiest place on Earth, food allergies as we all know are something you always need to be vigilant about! Be sure to double check your food items are made especially for your allergies, check food ingredient binders for ingredients, and talk to a chef!
