Two more reasons to travel to Guatemala with MayaWorks:
* There aren't too many foreign vacation destinations you can do on
$210 per day. The Judaica Journey is affordable. It includes all accommodations, most meals, ground transportation, and bilingual guide.
* Life is too short not to drink good coffee! Let's face it: you've been drinking mediocre coffee for way too long. Guatemala's location in relation to the equator and its volcanic soil make it one of the best countries for coffee production. You'll look
forward to waking up in the morning just to get a cup of java. It's guaranteed you will
return home with several pounds of Guatemala's best beans.

"I’ve been with Mayaworks to Guatemala 6 or 7 times, and I’m trying to think of how I can limit the number of adjectives to describe the experience — so here’s just a few: (low-key) informative, enlightening, (higher-level) deeply moving, inspiring, sublime, spiritual. Meeting these great Maya women artisans face to face, and the dedication to their beautiful work (especially the kippot), and of course buying them…we know that it makes for better nutrition for the families and raises their self-image. How often, really, do we have an opportunity to see the power of our Tzedakah money make such a direct difference in the lives of others? Awesome!"
--Danny Siegel, author and Jewish educator
