I cannot tell you how much I loved this show at @universalorlando Islands of Adventure.
The Grinch is perfect and had the audience laughing. I think my favorite part is watching Max in his scenes.
This is a very popular show so you should plan on getting in line around 45 minutes before the show start. This will ensure you get into the show and get a good seat. Do not show up 15 minutes before the show and expect to get in, especially on a busy day. Plus it has a decent walk back to the theater.
Do not miss this!

Add Grand Cayman to your travel list!
My family and I loved our time in Grand Cayman on our holiday vacation. We rented a condo on Seven Mile Beach to give us more space and a place to hang out once the kids went to bed. The beach in this area was destroyed by a hurricane but it had a great pool and the nicer beach was just a short walk away.
We snorkeled with sea turtles, kissed a stingray, held a starfish, glowed in bioluminescent bay, and of course enjoyed tons of time at the pool and beach. Not to mention we had lots of great food.
The only caveat to visiting Grand Cayman is that it is expensive! Be ready for a bit of sticker shock on food, beverages, and lodging. Or you can visit on a cruise and avoid those costs and focus on an excursion.

I was lucky enough to catch this show on Christmas Eve last year. For those at Disney World during Christmas week, make sure you know when the Christmas parade and fireworks are since they happen during normal park hours.

Did you know there is a special event at Radiator Springs in Disney California Adventure at dusk everyday?
During non holiday times, they play Sh-Boom from the movie while all of the lights come on. During Halloween time, they have a spooky tune instead.
Watch towards the end of the video and you will see a group of people cruising the streets, just like the movie.
Make sure to get here before dusk if you want to see it. It was worth seeing at least once, especially for Cars fans.

Oogie Boogie Bash 2024
I got to attend my first Oogie Boogie Bash this year at Disneyland and loved it. I will work on a comparison to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in Disney World, but wanted to note some of the highlights.
🍫 Treat Trails
This was by far my favorite part of the party. Most treat trails are centered around different villains. The villains did a great job interacting with guests as they passed by while collecting candy. You do not get a normal meet and greet with them, but I actually preferred this. Plus I brought home way too much candy.
🧙♀️ Unique Characters
Most of the villains in the treat trails are not normally out, but there are also character meet and greets throughout the parks with not often seen characters. These include the “Sanderson Sisters”, Prince Hans, Pain and Panic, Wade, and more.
🎃 Frightfully Fun Parade
You can catch this “spooky” parade twice a night. It focuses heavily on villains and Haunted Mansion characters. It starts with the Headless Horseman, which is a crowd favorite. This is the big entertainment of the night so make sure you get a good spot to watch.
🦹♂️ Villains Grove
The villains have taken over Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and have left their marks. You get to explore the enchanted grove and guess which villain has taken over each area. This is cute and fun to do once it is nighttime.

- Experience a spooky overlay for Guardians of the Galaxy- Monsters After Dark
- See Jack Skellington, Oogie Boogie, and other ghostly friends on Haunted Mansion Holiday
- Themed Radiator Springs area including Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween and a spooky Sh-Boom dusk ceremony
- Halloween Screams projections and fireworks
- Mickey’s Trick and Treat show in California Adventure
- Halloween Cavalcade at Disneyland (although sadly no Magic Happens parade)
- Halloween decorations, merchandise, and special Halloween food and beverages in both parks
