Welcome to our lovely barn conversion, set in stunning countryside but only 15 mins from the centre of historic Durham city. The cottage is spacious but cosy with all the mod cons but a homely farmhouse interior.
We sleep 8 guests in 3 bedrooms. There is a family bathroom and the master bedroom has its own en-suite . The light and airy kitchen has a stone flagged floor, beams and a wood burning stove, with ample room to lounge on the sofas in front of the fire or comfortably seat 8 around the pine kitchen table. The sitting room has lovely views and a big ‘smart’ TV. We are happy with dogs by prior arrangement and there are great walks from the door step.
Outside there is a big lawn with fabulous views and a sunny patio and BBQ area. For the kids there is lots of room to run around or safely ride their bikes and of course the ultimate rope swing. Also loads of room to park the cars.
