Why we travel
Hello and welcome to Resolute Travelers! We are Heide and Lee and we are currently living in Dusseldorf Germany, working with ALDI Sud. Heide moved to Germany first back in October, 2019. A few months later, Lee was also able to join her. Since we have both been in Germany we have made it our goal to document all of our travel. Within one week of Lee’s arrival, the entire world began shutting down and we were immediately quarantined for 9 weeks. We faced many different emotions during this time, but realized that our goal to travel throughout Europe had not changed. What had changed was just about everything we had ever known about travel, and really the entire world. As we all know, COVID-19 took the world by storm and pretty much halted mankind in its steps.
As the world opened back up, we made it our goal to figure out how to travel, but more importantly to help show the world that we are all encountering similar challenges. We must work together to solve the unprecedented challenges of today.
Resolute Travelers was born. We are Resolute in our goal to travel, spread the love around the world, and show that while we are all in different places and face unique challenges, we each struggle in similar ways and cannot get through this without the support of each other. The world is Resolute. COVID-19 has been a battle, but amazing steps have been taken by billions of people to keep this virus contained and we want to share some of those amazing stories as we encounter them through our travel.
