We LOVE a girls’ weekend trip! Thank you, Deana and friends, for spending the last few days at the Dottie June!

This group of friends from high school (40+ years of friendship in this picture!) drove down from north of Nashville, Tennessee and spent the weekend checking out downtown Ellijay, enjoying some great restaurants, becoming friends with the deer, playing games and just having an amazing time together - exactly what the cabin was made for. 💙

“Ellijay?! I’ve never heard of it! What’s there to do there?” I can’t tell you how many times we’ve heard that since purchasing the Dottie June. Truth be told, we hadn’t heard of it either until we found it on TikTok (shout out to @pickellijay). Slowly, we kept seeing it and decided to visit for @jonarnold’s 40th. From the minute we arrived, we were sold. There is so much to do in and around Ellijay, but let’s start with its vibrant downtown. Bustling with tons of restaurants, boutiques, bakeries, coffee shops, antique stores and more - you could spend an entire weekend down there alone. ✨ Best part? From the Dottie June driveway, it’s only 13 minutes to downtown.
