On Island has a new design they are selling online. What a memory!

It has taken me a while to design our Hurricane Ian shirt because what do you say about the Category 4 hurricane that hit landfall on September 28, 2022 at 3:05pm devasting our beloved islands destroying homes, livelihoods, vegetation and wildlife? Well, our island community had a lot to say and responded with faith, defiance, determination and love. A community that includes everyone who loves these islands whether visitor or resident. The back of the shirt lists different signs that were spray painted on debris across the islands and capture the spirit and resiliency of this community. I think it is the best way to memorialize this tragic storm. It is available now at www.onislandshop.com in navy unisex and ladies short sleeve and unisex long sleeve. To make it even better, a portion of the proceeds will go to SCCF's Plant a Tree Restoration Project!

Sanibel Operation Support: Calling all fishing guides whose businesses have been impacted by Hurricane Ian—Sanibel needs your help!

We are helping the city of Sanibel launch a transport boat service to get residents back and forth from the island while they begin recovery on the island. They need licensed fishing guides with boats who can offer those types of for-hire services for residents and business owners of Sanibel.

With the Sanibel causeway damaged so badly by Hurricane Ian, it may be up to a month before even a temporary bridge can be established, so the city is asking for guides who can help bridge the gap and kickstart the road to recovery until something more permanent is setup.
