Mediation is used to help disputing parties resolve a wide range of issues including family, community and work based disputes. Liz Barrett is the owner and director of Resolution Wales and has a wealth of expertise in helping families, neighbours and organisations resolve issues that have a negative impact on their work and everyday lives. She has been a practising mediator and trainer for the pa
st 12 years and previous to that worked with families, young people and the community in support worker roles. Resolution Wales is able to offer face-to-face, telephone and on-line services that suit the needs of it's clients, and works with individuals as well as the private and public sector, and statutory and voluntary organisations. The family service offers families an opportunity to explore issues, re-build relationships and reach agreements that suit their needs. The neighbour service allows neighbours to identify and work with the real issues and explore common ground, reaching agreements without the need to meet face-to-face, or involve solicitors. The workplace scheme offers a range of services tailored to meet the needs of any organisation and provides an alternative service that's both cost effective and efficient for the employee and employer. We also currently offer a 1 day staff training course in conflict management and will shortly be launching a range of on-line courses to help people develop skills and techniques to cover a range of conflicts including family and neighbour disputes.
