we are still on as planned for THIS weekend! the conditions on the other hand...are going to be challenging.

saturday 27th: we will be at labrador early in the morning (upstairs in the main lodge)...we'll see what the conditions are like...

sunday 28th: bomber is excited to meet you all at tog! the demo tent will be set up 8:30-2:30. eats and drinks at the foggy goggle at 3:00.

whether you decide to ride or not this weekend, do still plan on at least stopping in sunday sometime at tog to say hi to jim and angie from bomber (see all the tempting gear they brought with them all the way from aspen...boards, boots and bindings).

we will NOT be riding monday!

THIS SUNDAY: aspen's 'bomber alpine snowboard outfitters' will have their FREE demo-tent set up at toggenburg THIS sunday (28feb), 8:30-2:30! whether you want to try out hardbooting/alpine carving, or just change up your experience by trying out other board or boot manufacturers...stop on in!

please register or rsvp. spread the word! mention bomer-demo-day for discounted lift tickets

we will gather in the foggy goggle afterwards to share stories...2:30/3-?

5th annual (LITE) carving days:
sorry for the late announcement, but seeing as no 'pure boarding talent' is available this year (due to travel conflicts and a baby-on-the-way), we will just be gathering on february 6th/7th/8th to simply ride!! we will have 6 boards and 4 bindings to demo, but NO BOOTS...i repeat, no boots...sorry...BYOG (bring your own carving gear). we would like to keep the tradition going by holding an event this year. we will hold clinics as needed. please register/rsvp if you plan on attending. saturday and monday will be at labrador, sunday will be at toggenburg. stay tuned for further details.

i have finalized arrangements for those who inquired/requested lodging. this property has reached its capacity (ray+2/gene+1/michael+1).

if you do find you need lodging, here are the 4 options/recommendations for you to arrange on your own:

CARVER-HOUSE LAST CALL/OPPORTUNITY:

unless i get 2-3 more commitments, i will have to pull the plug on the carver-house tomorrow (monday). so far i have 5 adults and one child which is not making it economical enough (sorry gene/michael/ray) to secure. if you are still interested, please let me know tonight, sunday...thanks!

please let me know this week if you need lodging. i will be deciding yea or neigh on a house for out-of-towner-carvers monday morning 12jan. so far i have one couple interested. if we are 8 guests for three nights it would come to about $130/person.

LODGING NEEDS?:

i know the holidays are what you all are thinking of these days, but do please let me know if you wish to have a warm bed to sleep in for your visit to cNY for our carving session...i have not reserved the house yet as i have not yet heard from enough people to merit securing the house. otherwise you all are on your own for finding lodging...
