We are a family business, manufacturing and retailing quality Scale Model wooden trains, planes and auto's.

Australian Heritage Model Trains is a family owned business, manufacturing and retailing quality wooden vintage trains based on NSWGR Steam Era Rolling Stock. We also make models of vintage cars, trucks and aeroplanes. We are 100% Australian Owned and source all our materials locally, supporting other businesses in our immediate area wherever possible. Our models are manufactured by hand shaping,

assembly and finishing. Each item is constructed of furniture grade plantation pine (a renewable resource), finished with water based child safe paints and coatings and hand embossed detail. AHMT Models have no magnets, plastic or alloy content, no small hazardous or removable components and require nothing more than imagination to run. We design and handcraft all our model trains, planes and autos. We also create painting projects for rainy days.

Our models reflect original designs and are normally accurate to scale within the limitations of timber construction.
