It's that time of year again!

Leslie Brown has hit the ground running once again! Her and the crew have been getting the trails whipped into shape for the up coming endurance ride, as well as trail riders! What better time of the year to go camp than when its starting to cool off and the trees are beginning to change colors, plus a freshly cut and mowed trail!

Also, please don't forget, it wasn't so long ago they were trying to do away with these horse trails for a gun range. So the more people that ride them, the more we stand to keep them!

If you haven’t been getting out on these warm winter days, I suggest you do! There is always an adventure waiting. Even in the most surprising of places, like Norman Oklahoma. We’d never been to this little park, and if you haven’t, we highly recommend it for a nice, non-technical walk.

The adventures begin! A day spent at Medicine Park, Oklahoma. Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge. It’s certainly a one of a kind place, especially in what feels like the middle of nowhere Oklahoma. Free for everyone, dog friendly, and a beautiful place to hike. Maps are provided in several places, and the visitor center is filled with helpful, friendly faces to help you along the way. Make sure to bring your camera! You’re not going to want to forget this place.

While it’s cold and miserable, we’ve been trying to learn how to use our equipment. So far so good I think, but certainly room for improvement. Here is a little video of our adventure around Thunderbird, Ok during the snow a few weeks ago.
