Trying to get use to the DRI in Bali is a challenge. You feel like you’re spending millions. Little video of exchanging $200 US into Bali money. About 3,500,000.00 is equal to 200.00 US. So spending a couple million in a day is not hard :)

After a crazy drive to Ubud we got to our little villa. Super cute with our own private pool. Finally feeling rested enough to head out for a full day of sight seeing tomorrow.

Had coffee this morning in our matching housecoat, along with morning massage (25.00), quick visit to the temple before the pack up to head to new location. Nusa bu was beautiful. Finally starting to get over her lag.

Well we made it through the 26 hour flight.. with time change we left jan 23 and arrive at our resort just after midnight night making it jan 25. . Not sure how cec stayed up through all of it. Greeted by this super sweet resort we booked for 2 nights. Very Bali like with a temple in it. Low key day , as we had expected with the jet lag sucks. This resort/bungalow room was 120.00 a night with buffet breakfast included on the ocean. Might spend one more night to help get our clocks re-wired

After 12.5 hours of flight we just made it to Dubai. Have an hour layover till we board again for another 10 hour flight. It’s 7am here. Great flight with the airplane made to feel like night with stars in the isle. Took pics of first class seats as we walked by… Dubai airports is like a beautiful mall!!

Montreal airport …. And it starts. First flight is to Dubai that’s is 12.5 hours of the 26 hours of travel:). Going to be a long day

Jan 23-Feb 14 Cec and I are going to suck up the 26hour flight and head to Bali. This will be Cec first backpacking trip and we have a big bucket list of things to do when we get there. We thought a page is the best place to blog our adventures if you like to follow. It also makes a great page for us to look back at later. Super excited to explore this beautiful country.
