Check out this work-in-progress animation showcasing some of the interior modeling for this home. We previously focused on the exterior, but now it’s time to bring the interior to life. How amazing is that cathedral ceiling and the view from the upper balcony?
Next comes the exciting part—adding all the interior décor and furnishings to bring the space to life!

Thrilled to share some clips from our latest 3D animation for a stunning lakefront home in the Springs of Cambridge, IN, designed by the prestigious @goldbergdesigngroup. This modern masterpiece features an outdoor kitchen, indoor sport court, and pool / spa area area that overlooks the water. Bringing this vision to life has been an exciting journey, and we can't wait to see the final results.

I initially rendered this in a wooded setting without realizing it was being built on a lot that had water on both sides and no trees. (My mistake) So to fix the mistake, we redid the environment to be true to the actual site and ran a new set of renders along with this animation.

Here's a timelapse (showing 3.5 hours) of some of the post process work I do to fix all the weird stuff that generative upscaling causes.
This usually involves moving between Photoshop and ComfyUI using a custom Face Detailer workflow I made, along with a simple inpainting workflow. Because these are usually 6-8K images I can't take them into Comfy all at once without running out of VRAM, so I select areas I want to fix in Photoshop and then paste that into a ComfyUI "load image" node.
This is nothing special. Just old school SD 1.5 with a simple prompt. It's not the latest and greatest, but it's fast. Once I get the result I want, I paste it back into the same selection window in PS.
These were all rendered out of Vantage at 1440p with 600 samples, then upscaled 2X to 5K using both Magfinic and Topaz Photo. The Topaz upscale doesn't change / enhance the image, but I can use it to paint back in any materials or plants that the Magnific upscale alters too much. Everything else is fixed with Comfy & SD or PS generative fill as necessary. This is generally pretty fast and not always necessary, but if there are a lot of characters a good distance from the camera, then it can be time consuming.

I've been trying to come up with a fast solution for emulating faux rock shotcrete structures for the past week or two. I figured out a pretty cool method using Tyflow for 3ds Max, that lets me build out the basic shell of the structure and then convert it to something that looks more like hand carved shotcrete. It's all parametric so I can continue to build up additional layers of faux stone as needed. I also made a quick custom shader to emulate the look of stained concrete. Still a WIP, but it's a promising workflow.
