If you’ve ever planted something and watched it grow, and then it produces a flower, or fruit!!! That weird feeling of accomplishment!😂😂
I cut open a yaca about 8 years ago and decided to plant the seeds. I got lots of little plants and after a year I had four big ones but I was renting a house with very little space in the yard so I just kept them in pots. The year after, I bought my house! And once I had decided to fill my yard with trees I planted these little guys, without too much expectation.
They have flowered, and had tiny fruits that went black and fell off, for the past couple of years. Then this year one of them started producing real yaca looking fruit!!
I had three now, near the end, but two fell off while I was away, rotted. I cut the last one off right away and today I cut it open to see if it was any good…. Most of it was!!!
My first yaca, 8 years later! ❤️❤️
