3.9 miles graded easy.

The route may be suitable for wheels as all paths are surfaced. The steps opposite Nanny Moore's bridge can be bypassed using the ramp at the start of the car park. The steps in front of the beach huts at Crooklets can be bypassed using the path behind the huts. The gravel path near the Riverlife café can be swapped for tarmac by following the cycleway past the car park entrance.

We are at the chalet from tomorrow finishing the bathroom and preparing the chalet for possible last minute summer holiday bookings! 🎉

Booking dates available will provisionally be:
5-12 August
12-19 August
29 August - 2nd September (4 nights)

and possibly:
29th July - 5th August.

Week long stays will be £650 and the four nights £450.

🌸 🐥 🌊 Sea Grove in Spring 🌊 🐥🌸

We haven’t started letting the chalet yet this year. Mainly this is because we need to refurbish the bathroom (see stories today for progress!) but also now that our son is at school we are a little more restricted in when we can visit ourselves so definitely wanted to squeeze in a sneaky Easter break this year! I’m looking forward to sharing some new bathroom pictures on here very soon! Meanwhile here are a few of our Spring adventures…

A great initiative…you can now hire a board at Bude Sea Pool for a donation in the bucket. 🌊

It was agreed at the last full council that Bude-Stratton Town Council will work with local partners to assist retailers to remove cheap polystyrene body boards from sale in Bude.

Encouraging the sale and use of more sustainable alternatives, as well as rental programmes, to avoid expensive, environmentally damaging and difficult to recycle waste from polluting our beaches and the marine environment.

“There are some brilliant walking & biking trails to be explored around The Weir. You can take the Whalesborough Farm trail loop & explore woodlands & flower fields all the way to the coast (if you’re lucky you might spot some wild deer!) or follow the canal toe/bike path all the way into Bude for the classic experience 🌱 For more walks pop in & grab a walking guide. Or hire a bike from Bude Bike Hire & make a day of it! 🚴🏾‍♂️ There’s plenty of overflow parking & be sure to grab a coffee on the way through ☕️”

Haven’t these days been glorious for outdoor dining! We’ve been making the most of the opportunity at Sea Grove this weekend as well as paying a visit to the beautiful and restful All the P's Market and Tea Garden just down the road towards Stratton ☀️ 🌺 🌊

So, who wants to come to Beach School? Joining us on the sand has never been easier. You can now secure your place on our Beach Sessions in Bude, Cornwall, by using our new online booking system.

It's simple.

- Pick which Sessions you'd like to attend
- Create an Eventbrite account and receive your free tickets! (If a Beach Session is full you'll be added to the waiting list.)
We'll then contact you with any further details you may need.

Two important notes:

* You should book 1 ticket per attendee, not per family.
* the 2 home-ed drop off sessions on a Monday and Wednesday will be the same session, so please only attend one of these per week!
