Did this weekend's southern snow storm leave you wanting more? Did your kids love it as much as mine did?
My kids were loving every minute of the snow and day off from school on Friday. Sledding in our own neighborhood and building snowmen is something we haven't been able to do in many, many years. It left us remembering our last trip to Colorado and how much fun we had loving the snow there too. We can't wait to return soon. (Note: first 4 pictures are all from Colorado, but the last one is in Georgia this weekend of our tiny snowman... well, snow-frog LOL)

🏝️Fun Fact Friday🏝️
The Florida Keys, a lush getaway right off the coast with water bluer than the sky makes it the perfect spot to kick off your new year. Key, a term referring to its low elevation presence as an island above a coral reef, makes it perfect for relaxing. While some keys are more swimmable than others, there are some great excursion offerings and diving opportunities.
Did you know that of the 1,700 islands in the Florida Keys, only 800 of them are keys? The largest of which is Key Largo, spanning 30 miles long and ½ a mile wide!

🥐Fun Fact Friday🥐
Vienna’s lush, green riverside location and beautiful architecture make it a must see for European history. Known to many as “the City of Dreams” and the wine capital, Vienna has a rich history in middle eastern empires making it included in some of the most popular river cruise itineraries. Do you know which empire was defeated trying to conquer Vienna? The Ottoman empire! The siege of Vienna in mid-1529 ended with the Ottoman empire losing, causing Suleiman the Magnificent to return home, failing to expand his territory. If you do not remember this little fact from high school world history, then ask your nearest teenager to see if they might remember or be impressed by you.
If the Ottoman Empire doesn't interest them, do you know where the popular croissant pastry originated? You guessed it, Vienna. The carb-loving teenager will definitely appreciate a croissant fact too. 😆

During CruiseWorld this year, Norwegian Cruise Line presented some impressive information about their newest ship: Aqua.
Aqua is joining the NCL fleet as the newest addition to the Prima Class of ships. The artwork on her hull is beautiful and I can't wait to see it in person. The hull work was designed by Allison Hueman who is world-renowned for her street art & global brand collaborations. Allison is the first female to design hull work for NCL.
Aqua will be sailing from Port Canaveral and Miami just in time for the April Spring Breaks!

Tortola is a beautiful island in the Caribbean and part of the British Virgin Islands. It’s known for its mountainous terrain, such as Sage Mountain elevating an astonishing 1,716 feet. This stunning island was formed by volcanic activity some 100,000 million years ago, much like the Island of St. John.
Did you know Christopher Columbus originally named the island Santa Ana? It later adapted from the Dutch name for the island, Ter Tholen, to the name we have today.
Whether you're interested in sailing the British Virgin Islands on a private yacht or visiting for the day as a cruise port. There are many options to get to this island and explore. Cruise Lines like Princess, Celebrity, Virgin Voyages and more all offer spectacular itineraries to include this destination.

The beautiful islands of Hawaii is a great passport-free location to visit with stunning beaches and picturesque water. Each island has its own unique features and island hopping is highly encouraged.
Grand Wailea in Maui is a stunning property and very family friendly. The resort features a unique and expansive pool area, spa and so much more. Grand Wailea is also one of the partner resorts I can usually offer perks like 100 USD Hotel/Resort Credit and Complimentary Breakfast.
One of my favorite Maui adventures is watching the sun rise over Haleakala dormant volcano... breathless! The sunrises and sunsets in Hawaii are stunning.

As Christmas movies are added to your nightly schedule and you start dreaming of vacations in the snow. Did you know “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” was filmed in Frisco, Colorado? 9 miles away from ski slopes in Breckenridge, Colorado boasting 187 trails spread across five huge peaks, totaling 2,908 acres of ski-able terrain.
While not a Christmas movie, you may be surprised to learn the movie “Dumb and Dumber” was filmed in Breckenridge, not Aspen. 🤯
When planning your next ski vacation why not add visiting some filming locations too? I'm sure you wouldn't be the first to ski the slopes of Breckenridge in the iconic Dumb and Dumber colored tuxedos. Breckenridge is home to more than 200 shops and almost 100 restaurants and bars, so if downhill skiing doesn't interest you, there is still more to see and do.

One of the best private islands around (in my opinion) is CocoCay. It is the perfect stop on your next Caribbean cruise. I cannot recommend it enough. Several sailings with Royal Caribbean will visit here and even a few with Celebrity Cruises. If you haven't visited yet, add it to your list for your next warm weather vacation.

☀️It's Travel Tuesday AND Giving Tuesday!☀️
Since you see travel posts on my page all the time (for obvious reasons LOL), today I'm focusing on giving.
One of my favorite things about the holiday season is giving back to the community. This year I also wanted to highlight two great charities: Camp Sunshine and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
☀️Camp Sunshine does fabulous programs for children with cancer including overnight camps, visiting children in the hospital with fun activities and so much more! I wanted to support and bring attention to them for Giving Tuesday again this year.
🩺 Additionally, I'm also doing $25 for each booking to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. In case you didn't know, CHOA just opened an amazing, brand new facility to help better care for the growing Georgian population and the needs of all the children. They have an amazing heart center, cancer center and so much more to continue their commitment to all better!
For each new trip booked and deposited today, I will be donating $25 of my commission to these WONDERFUL charities, up to a total of $250 per charity.
Please also take the time to check them out and see all the wonderful things they have done. There are so many ways to support them either financially or with your time.

What have I been up to this week? Soooooo much! I’m in Ft Lauderdale at CruiseWorld to further advance my education with vendors in the industry: meeting representatives, having one on ones with amazing vendors, learning about new products, learning about new things coming to old products, going to the Travvy Awards (Travel Weekly’s annual award show for all things travel) and so much more.
I am 2 days into the conference and so thankful to have been selected for the STAR program. Thankful out of so many applicants they picked me as one of the participants. I’m so thankful for all this knowledge and how it will help me pick amazing vacations for my clients and their families.

Virgin Voyages has some of the best food I've had on a cruise line and I am always looking to recommend it and book it for adult only cruising. This cruise line is for 18+ cruisers, which is a nice break when you are on a couples trip, girls trip or just need some solo time.
Virgin Voyages is currently running a $99 per sailor per day sail on select sailings. This is an amazing price and the sale will run until November 12.
Oh and did I mention there are hammocks on most of the balconies! This is so relaxing and one of my new favorite features on a ship.
