Wishing I was waking up to this and praying the bronze gawds remain loyal this summer. 🙏🏼

(Btw I swear I don’t say this about every place 😂) a few hours after being in Panama I already understood why people up and move there, all. thee. time. The country offers a unique balance with its capital being a metropolitan city mixed with rainforests, beaches and rich history. Next time y’all ask me about going to Cancun, DR, JA, any of those frequented destinations in the Caribbean ima start telling y’all nah, visit Panama. Here’s why...

📝They use the U.S. dollar as legal tender (this means you don’t have to worry exchanging $$)
📝Food/lodging/activities etc. are not expensive once you’re there (Tocumen is also the largest Central American airport meaning cheap flights too)
📝They have uber in P City! (~$3 uber rides to get around all the main parts)
📝The nicest, most hospitable ppl live there and majority of them speak some English
📝Offers a mix of city, rainforest, beach and beautiful islands all in one

My fav part was staying on the small island of Bocas del Toro. Must visit spots to check out -
🌴Bluff Beach
🌴Starfish Island
🌴Coral Garden
🌴Dolphin Bay
Make sure you hit up Captain Maga from . He’s the island hopping 🔌.

Now I def am not someone to be at clubs, but I’ll attend an island party or two. Wed-Sat, Bocas turns into a party spot basically all throughout the island. Below are the spots I’d recommend hitting up -

I was reminded recently how many of my friends still do NOT own a passport and/or have no clue where to start when it comes to traveling outside the country for the first time (makes me v sad ☹️) I won’t call y’all out for now, but just know this week’s post is dedicated to each of ya 😂
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Getting a passport is as simple as visiting your local Post Office, submitting a few forms and paying some fee$ (which btw is nothing compared to what most of y’all drop in a weekend 🤷🏻‍♀️).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here’s what you need:
✔️Completed + unsigned DS-11 U.S. Passport Application Form (find at travel.state.gov)
✔️Passport photos (you can literally take these everywhere now)
✔️Driver license and US citizen docs (birth cert, etc)
✔️Credit, check or money order to pay fees (fees roughly $150, additional $60 for expedited processing)

Once you have all thee above, find your local USPS, schedule an appointment with passport services, bring all your docs and dasssssit. If all else fails and this is still confusing there’s this great thing called 🗣 GOOGLE 😂. Nah but fr, if you have questions hmu!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You think you know what the color blue looks like... til’ you visit the Greek Islands. Deadass tho 😂

When I went to Greece I spent time in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. We’ll get to the others in another post, but Santorini = 🗣 THE BEST BLUE VIEWS 💙🔥 btw s/o to my for the inspo this week 😘
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Santorini is one of the larger 🇬🇷 islands so there’s tons to do and see (ummm it has a black sand AND red sand beach too 😩). With a lot of nearby sites for day trips like Delos Island (known to be the mythological birthplace of Apollo) and the Santorini caldera and hot springs. Best part - no matter where you are on the island you get dope blue views and a lit sunset.

Paris was never at the top of my “European countries to visit” list but a girls’ NYE trip landed me there in January. Anddd lets just say idk what I was thinking before that lol. Paris has it all - art, music, food, historical landmarks, nightlife, beautiful architecture. A perfect city for the first time international traveler.
