New blog! Discover Argentina’s wild Misiones province beyond the Iguazú Falls and discover a side of Argentina few ever get to experience.

As 2024 wraps up, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the year…

This year was packed with new adventures challenges. We worked hard, but made sure to have fun along the way.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with incredible new clients who’ve quickly become friends, and travellers who formed genuine connections with the destinations they visited, creating memories they’ll never forget.

Some of the season’s highlights? Our camp in Atacama, cat skiing at our exclusive Ski Arpa resort, epic nights of stargazing, cultural immersion experiences, private sailing in some of the most remote destinations, plus many more incredible moments too many to mention.

As a team, we continue to grow, with new faces bringing fresh perspectives and energy. For our annual team trip, our teams ventured to Torres del Paine National Park where we united, we laughed, we connected, and we explored.

One of our proudest achievements this year was partnering with the Pozo Azul school in Misiones. We visited, donated materials to help build a concrete classroom, and ran a campaign to give new life to clothes we no longer use, sending them to the school.

We also teamed up with The Long Run to shape our Sustainable Strategic Plan for 2025 and took part in their Virtual Show where we emphasised the importance of sustainability to the tourism industry. On top of that, we planted 6,050 trees, offset 75% of our travel emissions, and completed the B Corp recertification process, which we’re excited to finalise in February.

We’re beyond grateful for the trust and collaboration of our clients and providers. Working alongside you has been incredibly rewarding, and we look forward to creating even more impactful journeys together.

Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited for the new adventures that await.

Wishing you a happy holiday season and an amazing year ahead full of discovery, growth, and meaningful connections.

From all of us at Glove Travel.

Here’s our fly fishing in Patagonia, a new passion she discovered during her recent visit to .

One of our favourite off-the-grid properties, Melimoyu is sublimely secluded in Chile’s Aysén region, surrounded by pristine rainforests and a stunning network of glacial-fed rivers and lakes.

While it’s a premier fishing lodge (guests are spoiled for choice with access to 30 different rivers), there’s also so much more on offer. Think kayaking, rafting, mountain biking, horse riding, hiking the forest and glacier-view trails, and relaxing in the lodge’s hidden private hot springs accessible only by navigating the Palena River followed by a short walk through untouched Patagonian forest.

With just four rooms, this private property is perfect for a group takeover with friends or family to enjoy the stunning surroundings exclusively. And the meals? A highlight, featuring local organic ingredients, served at a communal table that brings everyone together.

We’re proud to share something very special… we’ve begun sponsoring a school in Pozo Azul, a remote village in Misiones, Argentina. While known for Iguazú Falls, Misiones is much more beyond that—it’s a land of dense jungles and red earth, rich culture and communities like Pozo Azul, still deeply rooted in its traditions and ancestral rituals, living with minimal contact with the outside world.

Our journey started with a conversation with the school director about how to improve the learning environment for the 40 children attending the school. They urgently needed a safe, and a solid classroom to store their things and give the children a proper learning space. Together, we’re already working to build this classroom, providing the funds and support to make it happen.

We recently had the privilege of visiting the village. As we walked along the dirt roads, met the children, and talked to the families, we realised something even more urgent: access to clean, drinkable water. The community needs a well, and now we’re focused on making that a reality.

What stood out most during our visit was how much we learned from the people of Pozo Azul. Their connection to the land, their traditions, and their resilience left a lasting impression. This is why we do what we do: connect travellers with destinations where tourism can make a real difference, while allowing them to truly experience the essence of each place, engage with local communities, and help preserve the traditions and stories that make these places so special.

We want every traveller with us to be part of this positive change, so with just a small contribution on our Argentina trips, we’re making sure tourism extends to the places where support can truly make a lasting impact.

Last week our co-founder ventured to Puyehue, Chile to represent us at another unforgettable .la Immersion 2024.

It was a rewarding week filled with connections and exploration in a land of lakes and volcanoes—a true paradise for nature, wellness, and regeneration with thousands of acres of untouched wilderness, including Valdivian forests, natural hot springs and crystal-clear rivers.

Mornings were a whirlwind of productive business meetings, while afternoons were devoted to cultural, outdoor, and culinary activities like hiking, horse riding, kayaking, mountain biking or simply soaking and soothing in the thermal waters.

There were also inspiring talks that encouraged us to challenge and rethink the way we work in tourism. These discussions prompted us to examine our practices and consider how we can contribute to a more sustainable future for the industry. By reflecting on our impact and embracing innovative solutions, we are motivated to help shape a tourism landscape that respects both the environment and local communities.

It was a true pleasure to connect, get to know one another, and enjoy time with the top professionals in the tourism industry. Reuniting with old friends and meeting clients we’ve worked with but hadn’t met in person before was truly special.

Explore one of the most beautiful valleys in Patagonia by kayak and enjoy stunning views of Mount Fitz Roy as you paddle along the River las Vueltas- “The River of Turns”. This mountain river originates from Lago del Desierto and flows towards Lake Viedma, winding through dense lenga forests and sheer vertical cliffs while carrying water from melting glaciers.

Happy Fiestas Patrias Chile! 🇨🇱

On September 18, Chile celebrates its Independence Day in grand style. Known as dieciocho-“eighteen”- it’s not just a day but a month long extravaganza.

One of the best times of year to visit, September offers visitors a fantastic way to get in touch with local culture, traditional music, dance, and food during festivities leading up to the 18th.

Fondas are an iconic highlight- this is where the magic happens offering a space for celebration, socialising, delicious food and drink and of course dancing the cueca- Chile’s national dance.

Don’t miss trying a Terremoto! This cocktail’s name, which translates to “earthquake,” lives up to its reputation. A delicious mix of pineapple ice cream, grenadine, and pipeno, it starts sweet but delivers a surprising punch.
